1st Vape Meet- What to expect?

Like many of you, I have probably $1000 worth of new stuff on my wish list at various e-cig web sites. Not that I am actually going to buy ALL the stuff on the wish list. The wishlist changes all the time as I delete something that I really wanted for something that I now want even more. I need to order something from time to time to satisfy my new addiction to online shopping for this stuff. Thing is, I will be going to my first vape meet this Sunday and don't know what to expect. There are supposed to be 13 vendors there and I was wondering if the vendors ever have discounted or promotional prices at the meets. If so, maybe I can shorten my wish list a little, try some new things, and save some money at the same time. For those of you that have been to a few, what has been your experience at these meets?

I've yet to attend a meetup but I'm looking forward to attending the next one. I have no idea what the vendors do regarding meetups, whether they have contests or discount prices or what. I'm sure someone will chime in.

Hope so. It's like expecting a new baby for me (maybe it's a woman thing). I am waiting for my 1st mod to be delivered. I want to make sure I have every thing ready before it gets here, extra coil heads, tanks or clearomizers, batteries, etc. I ordered from Fasttech, so I knew that it might take several weeks to be delivered (ordered it almost two weeks ago). Gives me plenty of time to get ready, until then I am using my egoT's and mini protanks.

You are going to love it. Go, meet people, talk to the vendors, try some ejuice. sometimes they have prizes, most will give a way some ejuice samples or let you test on your battery. Very informative and just a whole lot of fun.


ps. sometimes you can get better deals at the vape meet than online. Always stay to the end, things will get cheaper. LOL

I was reading this thinking she's pregnant AND vaping?? Glad I reread it before typing in some hateful comment....

Back in the day my mom was sucking on a Viceroy and had a gin and tonic on the way to the hospital to deliver me but that's just how they did things back then. She'd already been through it 6 times already so it wasn't really a big deal.

Ozark, you are too funny. I do remember those days myself. I did not smoke when I had my 1st child but did with my 2nd. That was in 76 and not much anti-smoking around.

If you're lucky there will be people there with some of the stuff on your wishlist that you can try out to see if you REALLY want to own it or not. And there will be stuff there that hasn't made your wish list yet that after being able to see and hold and try you'll WANT on that wish list

Lol. Actually tried a bacon juice and it tasted like the real thing. Wouldn't want to vape for more than a couple minutes though. Would make me too hungry for the real thing.

It was a pleasure meeting you also. Really enjoyed talking with you. That was fun. Nice showing. Came away with a few protanks and juice but really wanted to come back home with new mod. Hope we get our orders from Fastech next week.

My tracking just showed as processed in Atlanta so I should have mine tomorrow. Should.

I went back and got some evod heads from the same table you got the protank from, Coast 2 Coast. I liked that guy.

I also talked to the guy from Rock N Roll and watched him with another customer. You are right, he is good with helping people.

Only other thing I got was an Octopus. I don't drip but something tells me I will like that.

Ahh I wish I can see more vapers in my area so that people get to notice this new stuff called personal vaporizer and won't give me strange looks when I draw-n-blow in a restaurant after a satisfying meal...

John is really good with people. He's responsible for me quitting the cigs. I bought my 1st kit from him. I got 2 more Protanks from him as well. His had the removable tips, the other guy had the static tips.

I Got my order Saturday. SVD, batteries, charger. I like the SVD so much that I ordered another one on Sunday, figured that at this price, why not have a backup. Got the email from Fastech this afternoon that said it was shipped. I really don't care how long it takes this time, so I bet it will make record time. Still waiting for the unitanks that I preordered from All American Vape. I placed the order on 9/16 and haven't heard from them since.
