I think for most variable volt you're better off being safe at 3 Ohm cartos and you don't have to worry if you go up to 5 or feel like 6 volts. I wouldn't want to vape at that ratio personally, all the time using 5.5 volts on a 2.0 carto yikes it'll burn up(I always got 2.0when I used 3.7 volts).

I don't know about lava-tube batteries but never a bad idea to shop around for better quality.

The biggest issues with dct on Lavatube is the limitation of the LT.
In my opinion the 2.5Amp limitation of the LT won't give the best results.
I'd use that dct on a mod which doesn't have that low limitation, and you'll going to have a great vapour and th.

yep i agree with ya i use DCs only at 6v ant its the greatest IMO

With a 2.5ohm DC, the amp limit for the LT isn't going to be a factor. It'll still give you pretty close to 6V because the it's only drawing 2.4 amps.
The problem is that you're not going to generate enough power. Even at 6V, you're only going to get barely over 7 watts per coil.
That's not terrible, but you can use a 2.5 single coil and generate 12 watts at 5.5V. That's fewer watts in total, but it's not split between 2 coils, so it's a warmer vape.

I use a 2.3ohm Vision Stone tank on mine and it's a vapor beast. I get nothing like that with a DC carto.
