good rule of thumb to use when figuring out voltage is take the ohms on a single coil (like youre using) and add 2 to it to get in the range for the sweet spot ...you might have to adjust up or down .1 or .2 volts but its pretty accurate.

I'm doing hhv's gandalf right now in a 2.5 ohm vivi nova on my lavatube @ 4.3 volts.
I just keep hearing that sometimes when they say its 2.5 ohms it could actually be like 3.5 because its not always accurate.
I vape Cinnabomb, Hypnotic Mist, Artic Ice & Fire & Ice all 80/20 pg/vg.
I usually start at like 3.7 (standard kgo voltage, which i'm used to) and dial it up a bit at a time if I feel I need to. But that's seldom. I use 2.4 vivi nova heads at 3.7 and it performs fine.
Thats one of the reasons I prefer a Provari you can test the ohms without any juice in it..either that or get an ohm meter and if its 3.5 ohms send it back.
You want to stay away from dual coils as they effectively double the resistance.
5-6 volts is good for people who like a warmer vape and who use dual coils.The same resistance atty or carto in dual coil would need 7.2 volts to get you close that sweet spot.

I use EGO Twists and all I vape these days is AltCig's Bob's Kraveve Cutter at 3.6-3.8 volts. Any higher and it starts tasting burnt. Plus at the lower voltage i can get three days solid out of a 2.5 ohm Kanger T3 until the juice stats to darken. Tastes great to me at that voltage.
I have not tried them but I saw a few great reviews and I'm interested in getting a few to try myself.
i've heard things about ikenvapes too, might pick up a few with my vape allowance this week. Smoktek has started to disappoint me and I still don't know the status on bogegate so i'm looking for other options
Ikenvape is suppose to have a very large shipment coming in soon, everyone I've read raves about the 801's but he's got a new 510 fusion coming in that is supposed to be as good as the 801's, I waiting to order some of them! Issac is trying hard to get things back up and going after getting scammed for a good chunk of change a while back.
So should I order something else for now or is soon like this week lol?
He should be getting everything in stock for Christmas I would think!
I just know he put up a tweet yesterday saying a big shipment was coming in soon. I'm hoping the end of this week or early next, I'm getting low on carto's and really want to try the 510 fusions! BUT.................
