It seems like any kind of fill mutes the taste of the juice for me, so I have been direct dripping on an ego

My 1st kit was a volt, and it would be handy to use the smaller batts once in awhile

and suggestions for a good atty for the volt? I do have an 808 to 510 adapter, but I think the 510 attys I have are LR. what kind of ohms can I use with it?

also, has anyone tried these with the SI cartos? might be another alternative for me'

Yes I did Ms. Sin, knew there was something that slipped my mind (couldn't find the video on youtube though of how to turn a horizontal coil carto into an atty), do apologize. Tested a number of 901 atty's (6) and a few 510's (3) via an adapter, anything under 1.8ohms on a volt batt that tested 3.59v under load wouldn't fire. Not sure what the long term damage, if there is any, from using a 1.8ohm item on it, but time will tell.

Another way to reduce/eliminate the leaking in a horizontal carto with the filler removed: cut about 1/4 inch from the bottom of the removed filler and put it back in the bottom of the carto. I can usually get 8 drops in before leaking occurs. Easy to test flavors without having to fill an entire carto. If you get a flavor you really can't stand, it's quick and easy to clean.
