Thats awesome, keep it up. Not gonna lie, had those strong urges too and still sometimes do and I started vaping 3 years ago. Even if you break down and have a real cig, guarantee you will have one puff and throw it away because your not going to like it now that you can taste what they really taste like. Thats what happened for me. Stay strong!!

Congrats, we're in the same boat :) Been vaping my .... off too! I don't really have urges, but every once in awhile I feel like I'm "forgetting" to do something when I do the things that I previously associated with smoking. Taking out the trash, coffee in the morning, etc. My old butts are still in ashtray outside, when I pass them by they smell revolting now which makes me smile.

Don't know if you're male or female, but in addition to getting my ego kit I also got perfume and L'Occitane lotion in lavender and cherry scents. Smelling good is a great motivator haha! Good idea for guys too imo. Though in hindsight I probably shoulda just blown it all on a Provari!

Keep up the fight man! Let me tell you the "one" thread I will answer is the one that's looking for motivation those first days. You know what, smoke an analog a day, smoke one in 5, tell me how good it tastes. Realize it tastes so good because your tongue is healthy now, you can smell better. Realize how awesome these juices taste, or for the first time in years how the "day" how the"weather" smells. It only gets easier my friend.. vape on!

Congratulations on your achievements, and keep it up!

No really, one of the best advices I've seen here is to make the change a positive experience for your brain and body. Basically, you need to adjust, you have not won until you rather pick up your PV over your coal sticks, even unconsciously.

So what you really need to do is: if you DEFINITELY need an analog, go and grab it, but keep on vaping, most people get over analogs in less than a month and some in under a week, maybe even immediately.

When I was starting to vape, I made sure to always have at least 2 cancer sticks around the house, and once every couple of days I used one, then went to buy a single (they don't sell singles here anymore due to latest regulation), this, I noticed created a negative (i'm too lazy) experience when I wanted an analog, and using this method my brain realized it was better to stick what I had handy. Regular cigs forgotten in 2 weeks, and the 2 analogs remained in my drawer for over 3 months as an old medievil virgin, untouched, and undesired...

Worked for me, but I know I can be crazy sometimes. It might be easier for you, try your hardest, if you can't, use my method, if still not there, try again :p

I hope your 2 days become a lifetime, enjoy your vapor :)

Hang in there. As a 30 year smoker on day 8 analog free it really does get better. You will find yourself reaching for your vape instead of your lighter and pack. Then comes your next problems working on getting backups so you don't have to worry about losing vaping, figuring out which is the best (perfect) e-juice to get and deciding what is the next vaping set-up that you need to improve your experience. It's not the destination, but the journey.

Good luck,
kato

For the love of God, Relax!!

Remind yourself to vape 5 or 10 hits when you want a smoke, then have one if you still feel you want to.

Fighting with yourself only stresses you, and you do seem stressed.

When you surrender, there is a peace that comes with it. When you find it, You will Know.

Relax! Enjoy!

I would suggest when funds allow upping the nic in your liquid a bit.

Sounds like you are not quite at your comfort zone.

My wife still smokes but no longer even tempted.

Well done but realise it is a Marathon not a sprint and if it takes a cig to destress just do it. You have shown yourself what is possible.

I do agree with this, If you feel you still get "nicfits" then try a stronger nicmg juice. If only to use at those time you WISH you had a cigarette. Everyone is different, so find that sweet spot. I believe there is no way you could ever vape enough to outweigh the benifits of quitting analogs. Hang in there!

Iam using 30mg nic and probably vape 10 plus puffs everytime im using epower 18650 xl boge cartos and attys

Wow that is high, more than likely too high... how many packs a day did you smoke before you started vaping? If you didn't smoke "packs" a day then 30mg nic liquid is waaay too high for you..

You've certainly got the gear to do the job!

Find a flavor that you like to vape and don't be afraid to have a smoke if needed. You may be missing the nicotine 'rush' or the flavor. If you vape before you smoke you will find there is no 'rush', because you already have the nicotine and as for the taste, perhaps you are remembering the taste of the last cigarette you had. Try, instead, to remember the 'first' cigarette you ever had. That first taste wasn't so great. It was awful! We had to train ourselves to enjoy it.

When what you vape tastes better and is more enjoyable for you than smoking the desire to smoke will leave. This is all about harm reduction. We are reducing the harm even if we have the occasional smoke rather than the amount we smoked before.

You mentioned money. We always found the money to smoke. We can be just as resourceful with vaping!

I smoked pack pack 1/2 a day sometimes more depending

In my honest opinion you should really drop down to 24mg at least, maybe even try 18 before your body gets used to 30mg nic witch is really pretty high. Best case scenario you wean yourself off all nic and just vape 0mg flavor and the higher nic you start the longer that will take. Its still a drug and I'm sure you would like to give your body as little of it as possible while still maintaining. Just my 2 cents..
