Made a purchase of the above gadget today. Kind of tried of using my multi meter for testing batteries & coils.

It's good for testing carts/attys but that seems to be its sole function. If there was anything else you wanted to test you'd need a multimeter. It's definitely more convenient than a multimeter when testing rebuilds. The only real con I see is the price tag.
