Hi all!

These are some short reviews of the various flavors I've tried over the past two months. All were purchased (or received as freebies) from Vapor4Life and used on their Vapor King KR808D-1.

Mint - 8mg - This is a go-to flavor. Smooth flavor, noticeable but not harsh throat hit. Mellow minty goodness.

RY4 - 18mg - I hated this. It tastes like charred sugar and has a very harsh throat hit. Would try in a lower nic level, but I am wary of it.

Coffee - 18mg - I liked this at first, but later on I found it a bit too rough of a throat hit. Tastes more like coffee beans than coffee, but not bad. Would try again in a lower nic level.

Black Tea - 8mg - Tastes like an old tea bag. Smooth throat hit. I didn't gag, but I did not like this. Vapor production was very low on this flavor for some reason.

Orange Juice - 8mg - Tastes like orange juice, with a slight kick. Good throat hit. Not an every day vape, but good.

Pear - 8mg - Strong pear flavor, strong throat hit. A little harsh for me. Would try again in a lower nic level.

Strawberry - 8mg - Nice flavor, tasted like a strawberry juice pop. I don't know if I would order a pack, but maybe a bottle of juice.

Cherry - 0mg - The flavor was like vaping my childhood. A lovely cherry kool-aid taste. I could vape this all day.

Grape - 0mg - Grape Kool-Aid. Liked it, but not as nice as Cherry.

Doc Pepper - 0mg - Another all day vape. Almost but not quite Dr. Pepper, with root beer overtones. I love this.

Cola - 0mg - Tastes sparkly, kind of like RC cola. I like this almost as much as Doc Pepper.

Pink Lemonade - 0mg - Like vaping an air freshener. Very perfumey to me. Not very good.

Ice Cream Sundae - 0mg - Creamy, and reminds me of sweet condensed milk. I used to love this, but lately it's been very "meh". Could taste chocolate and cherry hints when I first got it, but not now.

Nuport - 0mg - Menthol goodness with an undertone of tobacco, though it tastes like unburned tobacco smells (which I like). Perfect for long car rides. Lots of vapor on this one.

Banana - 0mg - Very, very BANANA! Reminds me of banana taffy. Not something I want every day, but not bad.

Pineapple - 0mg - Very, very Pineapple. Sweet and tangy. I enjoyed it. Another occasional vape.

Cranberry - 0mg - Tasted a lot like canned cranberry sauce. Good for when I'm in a holiday mood.

Red Hots Candy - 0mg - This tasted like...well, hardly anything. There was a very slight undertone of cinnamon, but otherwise, nada.

Spiced Cider - 0mg - This was like vaping potpourri. Perfumey and slightly chemcial-ish. Bleah, will avoid this one.

Apple Cranberry Cinnamon - 0mg - This tastes exactly like a pie my wife sometimes makes. Apple Cinnamon with a bit of tartness. I love this. Another holiday vape, for special occasions. Loads of vapor.

Most of the flavors listed above provided enough vapor to satisfy, and some were exceptional.

I put in a new order on Thursday (hoping to see it on Monday) that has several samplers, and a couple of recommendations by a friend (like Butterscotch, which I hear is all the rage). I'll probably post my impressions of those flavors then.

I've got a few batteries and bits from Vapor 4 Life.

1 manual pass-through - multi-logo (old style) - I enjoyed using it, but the cord kept getting in my way. I passed this on to a friend, and look forward to the new pass throughs.

1 manual battery - single logo - I like this battery, even if pushing the button is a little odd in my hands. Works very well. LED burned out, but I like it better this way (the coveted stealth vape).

1 auto battery - single logo - Ah, the auto battery. This is the perfect thing for me. Feels like a cigarette in a holder, looks spiffy, and can be used hands free. My favorite battery so far. I got it in blue, and it has a green LED.

1 auto battery, short - single logo - The perfect car battery! Light, stylish, and easy to use hands free. My "doing things" battery. I got it in red, and it has a blue LED. I was hoping for green, for a holiday theme.

1 manual battery, XL - single logo - This is my go-to battery when I'm watching TV or a DVD. The extra battery life means it lasts a LONG time, and the extra length feels good in my hand. Less awkward to use than the regular length manual. It looks very "technogeek" and I get compliments on it all the time. I got it in chrome, and it has a blue LED

1 USB charger - The first one I got didn't work, but Steve and crew made it right in my next order. Charges a tad slower than the wall charger, but more convenient for when I'm in my office. I like it.

1 Wall charger - Works like a champ, no complaints.

1 case - old style (2 carts, 2 batts) - I got this in black, and have had several compliments on it. Works pretty well, keeps the batts and carts safe.

So, there you have it. A summary of what I have, and what I've experienced. I hope you've enjoyed reading this as much as I did writing it.

Pity about the the Cider... just ordered that earlier today... was looking forward to trying it. Meh maybe it'll taste different to me. Oh and thanks for the heads up on the black tea, I've been eying that one for weeks. I kinda figured though that since I didn't like the green tea I probably wouldn't like the black either.
Good review :)

Thanks for taking the time to put down your experiences. Helps me as a Newbee. I see that on the high nic mg's there were throat hit problems, but not on the low or zero nic levels. Is there a connection between Nic level and throat hit?

The reason I ask as a newbee I love V4L but at 36mg and 24mg the throat hit is just way to harsh. I was vaping a green apple today and it was really smooth and enjoyable, and looking at it later it was only 18mg, so I was thinking the lower mg might be my answer to the throat hit issue. This seems to be the case in your facts.

Anyone have experience with this? I emailed V4K about this issue and they said that I probably was sensitive to PG and to use their VG, but I told them that I was not a big fan of their VG taste and lower flavor taste. Was feeling pretty discouraged until today. The 18mg seemed strong enough for me, and I am hoping to vape 100% from my two pack a day analog addiction and liked the nic level of 24-36, but the strong throat rip is just something I can't handle.

Not trying to hijack the tread here, just saw the data and with my experience today with the 18mg it gave me back some hope.

Thanks,
Chris

In my experience, as a general rule the higher the nic level the harsher the throat hit. It does vary by flavor to some degree. Example, for me the 8mg Mint is good and smooth, but 8mg Pear is a touch too harsh, and Orange Juice in 8mg is somewhere in between.

Before I settle on a flavor, I like to vape at least one full cart before weighing in. The only one I couldn't do that with was the Black Tea. A friend of mine who wanted to try it out really liked the Black Tea, so your mileage may vary.

I agree with alot of what your saying. Haven't tried the tea or lemonade. I did like the coffee stuff and chocolate at first, but now pretty much stay with tobacco flavors. Love mixing different flavors to get "custom" blends. Favorite is still Mboro/cowboy/USAmix whatever you want to call it. And a mix of 75% Cuban Cigar to 25% 555. Parliment and French Pipe after that.
