Received my diamond xl red with white cap today. She's a beauty 
. Next will be the regular length, probably purple, not sure what color cap. Wish there was a gold or bronze one cuz I want to name it Princess Buttercup.

Received my diamond series battery today, along with an ultimate ultimatum kit....... red diamond battery doesn't work at all. Not one bit of air will go through (with or without a carto!). The holes do not appear to be blocked at either end - I looked at them with a 10x magnifier. I am 100% sure it's not a carto issue because the batteries included in my kit are fine..... I've already opened a support ticket.
I wonder what would cause the air flow problem.Did you try adjusting the center post?
Yes, thanks for that - I did try it because I had heard about it on this site and it did work on another couple of batteries from a different source.
What's weird is that I can place my mouth at either end (not touching the metal or the ash cap, of course) and can't get any air through......
I'm not worried, I know they'll take care of it. It just had to be the pretty one though!!!!!
I'm not really sure what you mean by "can't get any air through." That said.....open a support ticket and we will definitely make it right!
i just received my my shortys. black w/ purple. i LOVE THEM. the gem is awesome, and really makes the thing look first class. and no, i can't draw long enough to make it time out. *gasp* looks like my new favorite batt. thanx, V4L!!!

Red with white(SO bright and beautiful!!) and purple with purple...they are wonderful! The draw is so nice on these compared to the ones that came with my kit.
Plus, we got the Cappuccino, Smilin', and Cinnamon Roll..so tasty!
My aunt cannot get the flavors of her juices though? Could this just be her tastebuds changing? (She has not had but 1 analog today and only 2 yesterday.)

Mine too...I LOVE the draw on these. They're perfect and pretty too!
observations after day 3:
1. my shorty Diamond batts don't make the PCC's red LED blink when fully charged, like other batts. the light just stays off.
2. one of my 3 shorty Diamonds (black w/ purple) is demonstrating the lack of contact with my clove coolcarts. i was able to pry up the center post of the batt, and make it function. i did notice, comparing the faulty one to the other two, that the center post seemed much more flexible on the faulty one. i wonder if something broke loose, resulting in the center post being supported only by the rubber gasket below it.
3. i made a perfect tool for remedying this: a push pin that has had the point bent back. i took nice pointy pushpin from my cork board, held it on my kitchen sink edge, and whacked it moderately with a hammer. this made the point curl back, so it's got a little hook to it. make sense?

How did it come to be, that somone mentiones that the new diamonds could have newer tech, and all of a sudden its posted as they have? As far as -Im informed they have the exact same tech as reg kr8's.... Cant find info on them beeing new chip like the BMF's?? Do they have same lengths? MF: 65 and 78. Reg 70? and 84 mm..

Do these have the really nice auto switch that is instant on/off like the "other" vendor sells?

On the other hand, I still would like to know if these use the same auto switch, as the auto switch I am referring to is the best I have ever seen, and I have had just about every manufacturer out there. I have some of these on order, just impatient to know.

I finally got to try the other unmentionable. A friend of mine at work got the kit after reading how great it was in the review section. Not as good as my manual or the king diamond series. Maxwell sure is correct. Besides, if a battery carries the name king diamond (when you order it, it's listed as vapor king diamond) you know it is awesome. And full of evil goodness.
