All I use now is cotton. Everyone is right, once you try it there is no going back. I use organic. At first I was concerned, is this safe to inhale? What will use over time do to my lungs? Etc, etc. While obsessing about this it occurred to me. Did I worry this much about how bad cigarettes were! I smoked with less concern knowing the horrible truth! So yes, I believe we should always question safety, use your best judgement. But for me anyway, I don't over think it anymore. I figure, it's gotta be head and shoulders above the alternative!

It's funny because how many people worry about regular cigs and the cotton in the filters?

You know I thought it was cotton too. Turns out it they are made from Cellulose Acetate. Remember when ya mistakenly lit the wrong end?

It would Crinkle up in a hard plastic mass. Then you'd have to cut that part off or break it off at the filter.

(you know you did :p)

ok, so I will try cotton :)
approx 3-5 days of use and after i change it.
If I use different flavours, I should change it?? If not, what does it change?
Concluding, should I create a cotton coil as every atomizer, or should I follow a particular guide for taifun GT??
Hi guys, can you answer to my last questions pls?? I must add also this one: wich kind of cotton is better to use for you?

1. How often you change it is more dependent on your taste buds and and E liquid. Darker and sweeter juices for me is every 3 days. Clear juices I go a week on one wick.

2. I change mine every flavor or run a tank for each Flavor I use . ( I use Evod and protank minis)

3. I make micro or standard coils for my evods and mini pro's. For my dripper I use single or dual coils. Experiment with it. See what you like.

4. If your concerned use organic. I use both. I don't see the difference personally.

thank you so much!! :)
i always used mesh, so i' m a bit lazy for changing cotton... cause every day i change liquid (darker/non darker/sweeter/non sweeter), could i try to leave the same cotton piece, or probably I' ll have a mix of flavours?? I don' t like to think changing cotton at every liquid refill!!
last question: I have only kanthal 0,3 ribbon. can i try cotton with this one, or do you think that is better a microcoil?? some people says that microcoil gives more flavour, some people don't.... I would like to try with normal coil, but first of all i ask here :)
thanks

it's a blaspemy to think about a normal coil with kanthal 0,3 ribbon and cotton?? someone here use it, and they have no problem, they only say that maybe with ribbon, the cotton with multiple puff could burn faster. somebody use it?

P.S.
I can't believe that cotton may stay inside the coil for 1 month or more!! every single comment on the net say from 1 day to 1 week, not more....

Use unflavored or clean burning juice to get over a months use.
Some dark juices foul wick very quick.
When swapping flavors I usually toss the wick and wash topper.

thanks. Now I need to know if i can use cotton with a normal coil (NOT microcoil), 4 spirals of kanthal 0,3.
I tried it today, high quality flavour and a lot of vapor, but after 30 puffs, i tasted burned flavour. Maybe I closed too much the cap of the smokestack, so the liquid didn' t irrorate well the cotton, then I had this burned taste. I hope this. Or do you think that kanthal 0,3 ribbons burns too much the cotton (for it's capacity to gain higher tempratures in less time), and you suggest me to avoid normal coil , replacing it with microcoil?
Is it possible to create a microcoil with kanthal 0,3??
thank you so much :)

the question is: are you sure that cotton shouldn' t produce more acrolein than mesh or wick??
due to very very little pieces of cotton that probably burns, I have a lot of doubts about that. So, if you are sure, I can only trust you on your own experience, or could you give me some document/scientific argumentation about the few creation of acrolein??

While we are producing scientific documention I'd like to know what gases are released when mesh is heated.
