2 Questions tank cleaning & about e-juices...

I'm just curious, how long does an e-juice last before it goes bad? I was told by someone that I have learned that I can't trust that a bottle is good for 1 - 2 years. Need everyone else's opinion on that.
Also too, I have the EVOD e-cig & am curious what is the best way to clean the tank so I can try a different flavor?

I have been told also that the juice is good for a year but you can also freeze it. There are videos on youtube about cleaning the tanks, check them out
