2 subtank mini versions?

My subtank mini has three airflow settings.
1. Wide open
2. Medium hole
3. Small hole
All videos and pics of this tank I've seen online have it wide open, two holes, and then one hole. Is mine just a different version or a knockoff?

The first version had holes, the revised version had slots.

That's what I could find on the subject. It looks like you have the first version, which is probably fine unless you paid a premium for the newer version?

2 versions (of my favorite tank) you say? Good to know . Although I probably will never find a version 1, I'm glad to hear that they keep improving on their design (I'm assuming it was an improvement?)

There are actually three versions. The latest and greatest is the Subtank Mini C, which Kanger also refers to as the Protank 5. The tank is top-fill, and I know little about it or how it compares to the Toptank line.

It's on my Labor Day sales Scavenger Hunt list.
