Zapped! This is awesome news! If I could herald your milestone with trumpets and a drum corps, I would. Keep it up! Don't lose the faith! If you ever find yourself thinking about straying, chin up, come here, and refill your batteries (not literally, but metaphorically). You will and should always find a support group here that will cheerlead you through the first hump.

If you relapse and smoke an analog, it's ok. We understand. But just remember, you always have an amazing alternative to those stinky, nasty, smelly things. And we will ALWAYS be here to support you!

STAY STRONG, Zapped!!

P.S. This forum is a collective pool of wisdom and experience that I would never ignore. Everyone here has pretty much gone through what you're going through and have advice, or they're right there with you and you can learn together.

The joys of vaping are numerous and amazingly plentiful.

1) You're not smoking a real cigarette.

2) You can vape anywhere, at any time (respecting non-smoking laws/rules), and it won't stink up anything. If it's your own home, vape away! Your non-smoking spouse/partner/loved one will DEFINITELY love the lack of burnt tobacco smoke lingering on everything.

3) Wintertime in the North and Midwest! NO MORE GOING OUTSIDE IN THE FREEZING COLD, WOOHOO!

4) Price. You save money. I spend WAAAY more than I need to because I like the gadgets and everything else. If you're just looking to quit, you might dish out an initial "starter kit" payment, but once you get the hang of it, you really don't need anything more than juice, extra clearomizers, atomizers, cartos, or carto/tanks (depending on how you vape).

Most initial users I've known started with the Joyetech eGo-T "tank" starter kits, which came with a 1000 mAh battery (fixed, not variable voltage, aka VV). They (and I) used "clearomizers", aka stardusts, etc. Those work great for about a week or so of heavy vaping, but for new vapers, who chain vape (like me, too!), those things crap out and the new vaper gets discouraged.

I highly suggest three things:

1) SmokTech DCT carto tank. These need instructions on how to properly prime/fill, but it's super easy. I'm dumb as crap and I figured it out. If you have any questions about that, PM me and I'll do my best to explain and how to fill these.

2) Genuine Vision Vivi Nova tank. About the same as a DCT carto tank, but instead of a cartomizer they use wicks. Some people find that the ViVi Nova mutes the flavor of their favorite juice (it did with mine, butterscotch), but it is extremely reliable and possibly considered the top dog of tanks here on the ecig forum. Best thing about it, you can get replacement heads at different ohms for the ViVi Nova. Not sure how deep you've gotten yourself into vaping, but if ANY of this confuses you, feel free to post a reply here or send me a PM. Once again, I will do my best to impart what I've learned onto you!

3) Whoops, almost forgot about the third suggestion! An atomizer for dripping your juice! My all-time favorite way to savor the delicious flavor of your juice is dripping. How to drip? Simple! It all depends on your setup. To drip, all you need is your standard 510 battery, an atomizer (low res), a drip tip (which almost always snap on and off easily), and you're good to go. Rule of thumb with dripping, though... It can get messy. And DO NOT drive and drip! That's very, very dangerous.

Hope you stay from real cigs, and good luck and godspeed with your new journey into the amazing vape world!
