2012 edition of GGTS Different size on the wings

The 2012 edition of GGTS SS is listed from ser# 2050. From what i have seen the wings are 22 mm wide. Later i find wings wide 27 mm, and i thought this changed some place from 22 and went on with the 27 mm.
Asking this question on Facebook it seems that the 27 mm also is to find on some early 22xx. Does anyone one if this is a random thing, or does it change at one serial number?

I have 3 SS editions, one is shallow and wide, one is deep and wide, and one is deep and small. Did you really have to go there?

I am looking at numbers from 2050 and up to about 3700. Are yours within there?

Ser# 4944 23mm x 7mm

My hypothesis is that there is a system seems to be wrong. So far (here and Facebook) it seems that wings are randomly 22,23 and 27 mm all the way up to see# 5000 Hmmm.

It depends on the batch. Imeo used to make changes. But with each batch I think they are the same.

Looking in wiki it says New style from number 2050. The highest # now with 27mm is 2098-2298. Then we have 22mm from 2698 up to 3550, and then 27mm again from 3781. Seems it is not random here Just need to find the point where it changes And then someone says 23 mm at # 4944. This will be something to list

Here is what i know about 2012-edition and serialnumbers. This is one step in trying to find how many are made of the different GG-items. So if you want to help, check your GGTS with serialnumber between 2050 and 5499 and see if yours fits in with this list. PLease tell if you find something outside these ranges.

Runju, tubes that came on a stealth had wings smaller than ggts ones within the same batch. I will check the numbers when im back

I must add a correction then. #4944 was originally a Stealth. I wasn't aware that the tubes were different.

we will see when aalwani gets home I did not think of that ggts and stealth had different wings either ..Maybe Imeo reads this and can tell

I am sure they do. I got 2 ggts's and 2 stealths from the same batch when Vassilis brought the new website. The two stealths had smaller wings and the GGTSs the bigger wings. And one stealth and one GGTS was like only 100 numbers apart. I can't remember those freakin numbers. I always hid them from Ariel the official serial stalker

I dont remember of course at what number I made the changes but there are 2 versions, big and small. So if most people say that its 22mm then its 22mm and not 23mm. The 23mm is wrong and maybe someone didnt measure well the wings because he didnt have the proper tool to do it.

And don't forget there is deep and shallow. First SS were deep i think, then shallow then deep again. This is what I remember.

With a calibrated digital micrometer it is exactly 23.622mm wide on serial 4944 I am pretty sure I am measuring correct as my serial 2929 is exactly 22.1mm They are not the same size.

Let us hope someone with serial number close to yours also have a calibrated digital micrometer.
Is your 2929 and 4944 shallow or deep engraving?

I guess my 4944 is the deep engraving. 4944 on top 292 on bottom

Maybe you are right Dark. Maybe engraver adjusted his machines but I didnt changed anything.
