Love that movie too, and its entirely accurate lol. There was an Israeli electronics store on Union tpke in flushing that was going out of business for 2 years and the inside looked the same with all the boxes.
Also they're right about the hummus, its on EVERYTHING. My ex's father, aunt, uncle, all are Israeli, every meal we had there was hummus. Whether falafel, salami cold cuts and burgers to Chicken marsala, always had bread or pita and hummus. And when I was in Israel, it was on everything, I got a Brazilian meats sandwich with chimichurri sauce, they of course spread hummus on the baguette, even put it on burgers in Tel Aviv (not in McDonald's though thank god). And yes, that's really how they 'disco' at clubs which explains why i planted myself on a barstool. Ok, now I'm sentimental and I need to save up for a trip back there. See! The longer I'm on this forum the more money I spend
