.24 Gauge Kanthal A1 Temco

So I just ordered some A1 Kanthal .24 Gauge from Temco. (They are sold out of .26 Gauge.) I was wondering, did I waste 10$? Is this going to be useable without being absolutely stupidly low ohm?

Well my .24 gauge kanthal wire came in today. I did dual micro coils at .4 ohms. Didn't work out so great as it takes literally a minute to heat up and start producing vapor. I finally tried a single coil, 5/6 wrap. Came out to .5 Ohms, works better than a dual coil .28 gauge!

It worked pretty good for single coil! been running 24 gauge in my Nimbus now for a couple days. I don't dare try dual coil though, just too low resistance.

I can't imagine how difficult it must be to wrap, but a micro sounds pretty rad. Count me in for 50 feet
