First post. Greetings!
For about 15 years, until yesterday (and hopefully henceforth) I was a one-pack per day (on average) P-Funk light smoker. More than that if I went out for libations or coffee with friends.
Been a lurker here briefly, but got so excited about the PV concept that I pulled the trigger after just a few days of dedicated lurking/research. I decided on the Vapor King! I based my choice on several factors, including convenience, flavor, throat kick, battery life, product support, testimonials (GrimmGreen's and Leaford's Youtube vids are great), etc.
After receiving my package within two days (I live one state over), I very excitedly opened my goody package (thanks for the bonus cartomizers Steve), set it all up, and started vaping for the first time. It's only been 24 hours but the experience is mostly sufficient enough to convince me that this will be a fantastic alternative to analog cigs. I have considered having an analog again (for research of course, to see how long one took to burn, how often I'd take a drag, how long the cig lasted, etc) but I just don't feel like I need to have one, so I will not.
vaping in the VK's (my only PV experience thus far) is pretty dang similar to cigs. I'd have to say that it's unique, not exactly like burning tobacco, but close enough, and superior in many indirect ways.
My questions so far: I've been using both the batteries and the USB pass through, and it seems like I have to pause a lot more than I'd like because the carts get warm... and particularly when using the USB pass through, they get damn hot (albeit the puffs off the pass through have more of a kick). I suppose I am chain vaping because I'm a rookie, but I just wanted to know if anyone else had the same experience... if you have to stretch out your time between puffs to let it cool down more so than you'd like.
So far, so good, but just wanted some other input on the whole experience. Thanks!
Aaron
