hey all, well today i picked up some 26 gauge kanthal cause the guy at my local vape shop said it was easier to work with. well i built a dual coil set up using steam engine calculator to get me the about .6 ohms resistance ive been building with the 28 gauge. so i built it and it looked beautiful, super easy to work with, but then i put it on and wicked it. well it was so much cooler, but at the same time it just didnt taste as good as i have been used to, i figured maybe i just need to break it in. well it didnt get any better. idk if i just like the hotter flavor or maybe my holes on my igo w arent big enough. well after about 45 min i had to switch back to my old style build. no matter what juice i tried it just sucked flavor wise. on my 28 gauge build it was insantly better, i could taste it again. so im wondering, did i do something wrong or does 28gauge just burn hotter and have better flavor. im running a stock igo w5 on a mirandus clone btw if that matters.
