For three years I've been so spoiled by Super-T's plating I'd forgotten (actually, never really knew) what a humongous difference it makes.
Technically, oxidation is what is causing your voltage loss, Precious Metal plating doesn't oxidize, so in of it itself, it prevents voltage drop by not allowing oxidation. Heres a complete explanation on why Rhodium and Palladium work so well:

I have the ELA coming, the slant cap and flat bottom button for V2. I still have to get the 26500 simplicity, the contact kit (need two), The ELA strata. It never ends!!!!
Any info on the new products and /or release dates? Pre-order info?Wait until SuperT releases its new line of mods....
Hey guys,
Just poking my head in here for the first time. I am the proud new owner of a Precise Simplicity 26650. I got it last week and I absolutely love it! The threads are smooth as silk, and it hits very well! I went with the ribbed finish and I love how it looks!
All in all I'm very happy! I usually can be found in the Vapourart forum, but i look forward to being a part of this one as well!
Have a great day guys!
Hey there!Good morning and welcome, I'm glad to hear you are liking your 26650, its a work horse all right! What setup are you running on it?
I've noticed the 26650 is a bit finicky with battery positioning, those MNKEs apparently don't help. They seem to vary a bunch, I have two that I bought at the same time, one I have a heckuva time getting not to rattle and the other being able to screw the top cap down (all other things being equal).
Gotcha. Well I am happy with the setup I have right now, despite the small gap..... The MNKE's seem to fit OK for me, but I cannot adjust the battery "down" anymore or else the mod will auto fire (if I remove O-Rings).....It's OK though.....the performance of the mod is spot on....I really do love it!![]()
If its outfiring, then you also need to adjust the switch throw that way you can run the orings that work and get rid of that unsightly gap. As delivered, it should have one thick machined brass washer on the switch post. (approx. .160 thick). Try first running three washers (they are .040 thick each). You can also fine tune the single thick washer (the .160 thick one) by flat sanding it down to any custom thickness you want (I made them of soft brass). T
