2nd day with Riva 510 getting very frustrated

I am getting hardly any vapor and occasionally when I do get some which is not often its not like it should be. I have switched out the atomizers blown them out switched them around again. I have done carts and Boge cartomizers. Either I'm doing some thing wrong or this pv is not for me. I am sitting here vapping my Murphy Gas station e cig. Its producing more vapor. I'm thinking I better pick up another pack of cartomizers for it. I smoked more analogs the last 2 days than I have in weeks. Does this sound normal? I have done everything like I was suppose to. I charged my new batts like the directions said. I have tried both batteries. I had a few good hours out of it the first day and was so happy and its been not good at all since then. I like the good vapor and throat hit I get from gas station ones better. The riva was suppose to be better. Can any one help or give me some ideas to try.

Either your carts aren't wicking enough or they could be flooding your atomizer. If you're getting a burnt taste, they aren't wicking enough. If you hear a gurgling sound, then they're flooding the atty.

As far as the cartos go, you need to make sure that you're filling them with enough liquid and then letting them sit for at least 15 minutes before using them. What's the PG/VG mix of the juices you've tried? That can be a big factor, too.

Vaping has a learning curve, so just stick with it and don't give up! You'll get it with some more experience!

hhhmmmm.... just a hunch..... what kinda cartomizers are you trying?..... look down in the connection end of the riva.... see the round gigee where the carto would make contact with the inside of the battery?..... unbend a paper clip and "lift" that part "up" from around the edges.... get it up a little on all "sides" and screw the carto back in and try again. ( I dont deal with atomizers so please try this with a carto)

Have you cleaned the threads in the battery portion? I'm new to this, but I watched a video, and if the battery portion has a little gunk on it, it won't make a good electrical connection. If other atomizers, and even cartomizers aren't helping, it seems like the issue is on the battery end of this equation.

you can do this on an atomizer too. It's all about making sure they are making a good connection to each other.
