My last order was placed on the 28th (and is still processing). When did you place yours?

ordered on the 29th. It is frustrating to not know what you will be getting when you order. I have kept up with this thread, and waited to order untill some people had got the newest revision, and now I find out I am getting something else.

could the chemical thing be the glue burning off, peaces of glue or platic melting, look at the pic a page or 2 back and there is plastic or glue around the cup.


those are the older ones and not the newest revision according to the box.

BanjoMan, yes I've had a look, looks ok. the coil is a bit brown, but plastic seems ok. I think its the wick.

yes, but no one has had these ceramic ones yet to try. I didnt want to try something different.

if you dont mind trying something , take the one your using that had a wierd taste. empty out any juice. shake it out, then wash it out with hot water and give it a little cleaning, shake out any water and dry it out, then place it back on your device and dry burn it clean, add juice up to the cup and vape.

yes it does, they have been doing that for weeks to try to deplete thier old stock since they made so many revisions to get it right..

I dont approve of that in anyway but it is what it is, if you got older stock then you will have to play around with them..

Well, at least it *seems* they're trying to make sure all the recent orders get the newest production. If it's an improved product I'd rather they hold my order than ship more old stock.

Like before, I'll guess we'll have to wait and see what we get.

well im putting a notice on my next order to hold it until its the newest and greatest with ceramics.

if you dont mind trying something , take the one your using that had a wierd taste. empty out any juice. shake it out, then wash it out with hot water and give it a little cleaning, shake out any water and dry it out, then place it back on your device and dry burn it clean, add juice up to the cup and vape.

Its late here so I'll give it a try tomorrow and report back.
ps. all of them so far have that taste, there are no good ones yet

Im guessing so, but i dont think this bad taste people are getting is plastic, because iof that was the case it would never go away on the ones i had it happen too. so either its the initial wick burning or its the glue melting away or something like that. or the wick is drying out to fast as you drag becuase of the tight coil, which has been fixed only in the newest revision

out of lets say 10 that had that bad taste only 2 wherent fixable and just where either to hot or something, maybe your getting the dry taste, im not sure. thats why i said to wash it out, dry burn it then fill it up and vape.

At this exact moment im using 2 that initially had that bad taste, i then did what i told you to do and both are perfect now, i cant get to to taste bad even if i try. they work flawlessly. the ones you have might have the wick on to tight which might dry out as you drag giving you that taste, but like i said wash it and dry burn it and see what happens.

I just placed my order yesterday and after they posted the new improvements (No Burnt Taste and better wicking) so I hope they are not sending out the older versions.

I traded out the rubber type end cap on mine for a plastic one, and the chemical taste is gone.

Wow. So if I had ordered on the 29th I would definitely be getting ceramics.. but since I ordered on the 28th I *might* be getting ceramics.
