kimmy, you might want to check back in a week or so, cause when i recieve them and if they truly dissapoint me, ITS NOT GONNA BE A PRETTY SITE over at royalsmokers.CON.:evil::evil:
Well I guess you have the right to go do what you gotta do... but IMO that wouldnt be too fair... we all take risks when a new product comes out... and it,s not like they remanufactured an existing product and failed.. like it was some cloned atty that was poorly made...

another thing to take into concideration.. they are technically wholesaling so as a consumer we are taking an extra risk bypassing the resellers obligation to test new products prior to selling to indiviuals.

the site was found by consumers and posted in open forums...we just bit into the hype of a new product (some with high hopes)....

I am not saying ignore the issue,,, I just hope you don:t react based on High expectations... and just take it for what it is.....

please don:t take this the wrong way... and there isn:t a real need for this to become a back and forth on this matter... it is only my opinion.. like you have yours.... and if either one of our opinions are swayed so be it.. if not.. so be that as well

Not at all lightgeoduck, actually i was being sarcastic in my responce, i agree totaly with what you said and have been neutral but im overly excited and anxious and the wait is killing me slowly.lol

it might be a good idea for everyone who reviews it to add it to the review thread so we can make a list of issue we all discovered and then pass that on to the e2 makers so maybe they can use that info to improve the product.

I honestly feel though that some people are reluctant to see these may not be the end all save all for cartomizers.

Of course, hope springs eternal.

We all want the burning issues to go away, but in reality, all the interest and rave over these isn't going to push this manufacture to improve.

maybe, maybe not. There may be an edition E2(b), they may just stay the same. We'll never really know but there may be a million already made and wherehoused and it might take a while. and maybe they have everything staked on this one and if it doesn't fly big it might just put them out of business and they'll dissappear. Since I don't believe they really have patents over there someone else will pick it up if it has merit.

My opinion is we need to demand better cartomziers. V4L sent out a bunch of samples to some of us, we will all post our findings, and try on different voltages, but I really don't think people should keep buying a crap load of them. Doing so will only lead them to believe everything is fine and dandy.

That happens automatically. People will always flock to the next best thing. This is one attempt at the "better mousetrap". Things that are significantly different kind of either make or break it (well, except for betamax, that was the best thing in the world and it didn't make it).

We have gotten quite a few honest reviews from reputable sources that say these do in fact burn very quickly. I'm frankly not understanding people'e desire to even buy them after this.

Haha, we're like fashion whores. We're always going to jump at anything new and we want to be the first ones on the block to get it too :). That's not going to change. Everybody really wants to find the holy grail and we're mostly optimists. "well, it may not work for somebody, even everybody else, but I still think it's going to/could work for me" (lol, did badkolo come to mind?). And it might. Different strokes for different folks. We pretty much have 2 kinds of elements. Atomizers and Cartomizers. Look at the plethora of different ones of each kind. There are minor (or even non-existent) differences and they are all still selling and people swear by one particular one or another.

We need to push them to make improvements, but by creating such a stir, we are only allowing them to continue to make inferior products and still make money.

Won't make a bit of difference in the long term. Even midterm.
We certainly don't want to "punish" anyone doing real development or trying to do something significantly different. This could be counterproductive. If someone intentionally puts out something inferior or that doesn't work for a short term fast buck/scam then that's a different story. But everybody so far is truely chasing the holy grail. Their intent is to produce the thing that takes the market by storm and dominates it for years to come and they make insane profits. It's still a fledgling industry with huge market potential, most of which is still untapped.

Frankly, why would vapor4life break a deal like this? The answer is simple, they knew these cartomizers would have numerous problems, the same old burning issues, and not up to our standards.

Yea, probably. I wouldn't assume it was due to specific problems (although it could have been). They just might have decided that it wasn't likely to meet their sales criteria. Maybe they thought they would be moderately successful but wouldn't make their cutline for the outlay/initial investment they would have to commit to. Remember, their deal was for a US exclusive. Likely there was some significant cost associated with just the exclusive part of that. Never know, they may well carry them along with the other suppliers, non-exclusively.

I love buying the next new thing like anybody does, but it seems these cartomizers aren't any improvement from the ones we currently have, in fact, most likely worse.

O c'mon, that may be a bit premature. I'm sure some people may consider them the best improvement since sliced bread. Give them some "soak" time (<- haha, pun/double entendre intended). Maybe someone creative will figure out a way to mod them that makes them perfect or at least better than they are. We do a lot of that around here. Improvements or variants on a basic design or base product.

I won't waste a dime on them.
...you got a free one :)

The chinese supplier does sound like a good company,
no information...
and they have a GREAT idea.
seems like it.
If they are willing to invest the money to improve them, they will have a goldmine on their hands.
That certainly is/was their intent.
I hope they realize this sooner than later.
No need to lose sleep over this one. :)

Is the shipping stated on the shopping cart the complete, total shipping amount?

DHL gave me an estimate on the phone (from Beijing though) of about $84 for 1kg,
but yet the the shoping cart shipping is between $30 and $40 for my order under 2kg.

It seems like a big difference to me, does it have to do with air/ground options or what?

DHL has finer granularity than 1kg don't they? I'd expect something on the order with cutoffs having oz precision. The shipper probably just charges an average fee and they make out on some and lose on others and it works out in the long run. How much does 50 or 100 cartomizers weigh with packaging?

Ok thanks I think I understand now, they cover shipping 100% when I pay them their quoted shipping fee.. that's what I wanted to make sure.

The CE2s (empty) are 6 x 5Packs for $19.48 and it said 312g (not sure if it includes packing), but I'm ordering other stuff too, I might even try the vGo kit. I've been having fun filling up my shopping cart with different combinations and keeping it at around $100 or less, excluding shipping.

thanks

I can't wait for the review on Monday!!! I'm dying to JUST BUY but since there are a couple testers out there that is GREAT!!! Thanks for being the guinea pigs!!!! I would have gotten them in a second had I not seen this thread.

I really don't like atty/cart models. I hate carts..... and direct dripping is not portable IMO. I would LOVE a better carto model!!! Not that I don't love my V4L Premiums!!!! I love them!! BUT Woo Hoo!!! I'm really keeping my fingers crossed!!!

This should be interesting given the mixed results we've had so far. I'm anxiously awaiting individual reviews as well.

I am looking forward to the reviews as well, will be able to place a order for some cartomizers around Thursday and more reviews will help me decide whether to stick with the Boge 510 cartomizers or give the new ones a try.

Thanks to all those that have given, and will be giving reviews on these.
Wing.

So far I think that everyone using them as prescribed have not found it offensive.
I hope to try them soon also, but I will be trying them with Dekang PEG. The site said that PEG produces more vapor than PG.

For those who have only used 3 piece ecigs and nothing else, this is like a bridgeless, self feeding atomizer with a small reservoir on the side, I guess. Not bad.

Not that burning has been a problem for me. Burning has NOT been a problem for me. I do like just about all types of cartomizers. I guess what little I don't like about the old/current cartos is their unpredictability and inconsistency relative to the price tag assigned to me and others as consumers.
