It is for many of us.

I only ordered 10 cartos.

Sounds like you ordered way too many way too quick. Maybe someone here can buy some off of you. Why did you order 808 though? They have a different thread than the 808d1, don't they?

Yes I did, I should have researched them further before I ordered, I admit that. If I could have ordered less I would have, but they only sold them in packs of 30. I got the 808 because at first they were not selling the 808 d1 to the states, then the deal with V4L fell through and they agreed to sell them to me.

I am going to share some with a friend but if I still have a lot left over and I really don't like them I will sell them.

the ones i recieved today have the 2 slits where the wick is like i showed in my pics, without modding them and using them on ego.eiva.tornado.vgo.hello device they work like they should even with thick juice , im not getting a burning taste, i tried this with 3 so far but at 3.7 they dont wick fast enough.

as i stated ealrier maybe the newer e2 3.7 cartos wont have that issue besides whatever else they fixed.

If you mod the carto then i got it to work at 3.7 with thick juice and its still going strong. but ill save that for when im done testing this fully.

the one im testing on a tornado is at 60 puffs now with 4 to 5 seconds of pause inbetween each puff and no burning taste, now 62 puffs.

I should POINT OUT that you cant go 60 puffs like that without a break every 7 or 8 long puffs and not becuase of any taste issue but becuase eventually the cartomizer will get to hot just like any cartomizer or atomizer. you do need to let it cool down a little.

badkolo what do you mean thick juice, VG Dekang?

I remember they also only recommend Ecopure or Dekang. I may have some Dekang and not even know it, but I don't think I know what Ecopure is.

when using dekang it works flawlessly on a riva or hello, tornado, ego battery.
and with thicker juice like nhalers high vol octane its working just as well, now my e2's have the slits that the first reviewers did not have.

using a full 3.7 mod i get burning after a few puffs with thick juice like i mentioned and at 3.7 with dekang juice i get burning after like 10 puffs becuase the wick gets dry and doesnt wick fast enough.

i modded one and that one was holding up at 3.7 with no burning.

I just got another email form them and they said like what NAV said, all orders form now on are the newest revision and address all the issues we are having. I really want to test the 3.7 e2 carto though.

Aileen said mine are the latest and greatest and should ship today. She sent me this picture.

What do you think naviathan? Does this look like what you know to be the latest?

CE2 Carto

skri is that a 510 or 808d-1 carto?

ok... I'm intrigued now. I was reading the posts about people having ordered hundreds of pieces sight unseen and thinking that was insane until i saw the prices on these things.

VM, I said I wasn't going to do it, but I did it anyway, I ordered some. My order still says processing on the website so no telling what version I'll get. Of course it's Thursday morning there now, maybe I'll get lucky and they will ship the latest and greatest to me today. I'm staying optimistic :)

WitchWay - those are the 510 cartos.

Mine were supposed to ship today too (yesterday for them) but it still says processing. I really don't mind as long as it comes with all the improvements.

Thanks!!! I ordered last Wednesday night so Thursday for them. I'll take what I get and make the best of it. I do think it sounds like they are on the right track with this idea though and I hope either they or some other manufacturer perfects the design as this would benefit all of us.

Happy Vaping!!

like i said, if your using the 510 ones on a ego/riva/hello/vgo/tornado then the ones i recieved are fine and work just like they should, which is surprisingly well. but mine are not the same as the ones others tested since mine have the slits which seems to help with the wicking.

BUT, at 3.7 volts they dont wick right and/or gets to hot after a few pulls.

Now the newer e2 cartos made for 3.7 should fix that issue at 3.7. plus they made even further adjustments to improve the wicking further which anyone that ordered yesterday on will recieve, im gonna make another order and try the new 3.7 808d1 ones and some more 510 new revision ones.

Anyone else ordering the 3.3v batteries with the new controller circuit?
If it's just me then oh well, that's fine :) I'll just be the only one reviewiewing.
It says they last longer than the 3.7v
I have a feeling that these batteries are the same as a 510, but with a KR8 fitting....br

It didn't occur to me before, but I have a 510 battery, and started using my 2.6-2.7 ohm cartos with an adaptor. So far it's doing fine, maybe that will help prevent the burning-hot outer shell/wick dysfunction thing.

I wonder if they can pulse the voltage the way the ego does, perhaps even in a better way. I wonder if Scottbee or someone with an ascilloscope can review the new 3.3v batteries. Here is Scottbee's pic for the ego voltage microbursts, maybe I can send you/someone one of them when I get them. Maybe it's too high of a hope for discontinuous voltage, but I don't know that. The site does say they put MiT technology in them and make the original better.

It may be good if they can achieve the proper heating hith only regular voltage microbursts, here is a picture of a nichrome wire strand heating up. The ego already does it, but I wonder if the bursts can be spaced out even more. That is what I wonder when I see this wire heating up.

Nicrome wire will do this with AC, pulsating DC, microbursts, or pure DC. For our use, it doesn't make much difference how we get it. A 6.3 VAC filament transformer from and old tube type radio will probably work pretty good with a HV atomizer.
