I still treat my vaping as if I were smoking analogs, especially if I'm around children and non-smokers. Being extremely considerate and still stepping away from those in the vicinity of my vapors due to it containing nicotine. Do any of you worry about the 2nd hand vape containing nicotine? How about if its nic free? Thoughts?

I did at first, but now I don't go around blowing it in children's faces or anything, but I'm less finicky about where I vape. I'm still considerate of people around me, but as its mainly just water vapor being exhaled and the level of nicotine is so low I don't really worry about it. vaping is huge where I work and most of the smokers have been converted off stinky's so its a vape friendly shop, and seeing as how I'm there or around fellow vaping friends most of the time, its not much of an issue for me.

Studies show that there is no detectable amount of nicotine in the air from 2nd hand vapor. I don't have links, but I've read it several times in several threads that did have them.

I try to be respectable in almost all places, but sometimes have to have a stealth vape in which I hold the vapor until dispersed in my lungs.

Infants... Sure I'll walk away...

Other than that no.

Nicotine is no worse than caffeine.

Plus the body absorbs it quickly, the amount of nicotine in exhaled vape is minimal at best.

I only walk away from infants cause ignorant parents could get confrontational.

Sent from the ether using the power of my mind... and the Tapatalk app.

I sometimes have to be careful where I vape specially near the older folks here in my country. They can't seem to differentiate the concept of smoking from vaping and it's a pain to explain it them. Some people are just so dead set that anything related to smoking analogs are bad.

I know what you mean. I actually just got back from there last month. Old school mentality is what it is. Just tell them it's a lot better than jeepney smog! :p

Little do all those people you vape around know, you're actually doing them a favor by killing germs in the immediate area. PG and VG are anti-microbial. PG has been used for years in hospital and nursing home ventilation systems to prevent airborne viruses.

If I remember correctly, you would actually have to lock lips with a vaper who has a full vape in their airway to get even a negligible amount of nicotine.

Oh, and you might want to keep the cat away from VG PG vapor. VG PG is toxic to cats in liquid form, not sure about the vapor itself but better safe than sorry.

*Edited due to mistake, the correction was much appreciated.

These are extremely interesting facts! I shall keep this in the main memory bank!

First off you might want to read this research study (don't fret, there are pictures) .

Secondly, I think we should vape in public (while being respectful) because it helps people get over their stereo types and brings in people who have been desperate for a solution to smoking that didn't know one existed. I even made a video.

Whatever choices you make for yourself it's always best to be informed. There's lots of good research popping up and CASAA is doing one (as you already know) that might really help us understand better. If you haven't donated, take a second to if you can. I only gave a little bit but if we all only gave that much we'd be at our goal by now.

if you are in a room with someone with cancer. you are breathing second hand cancer vapor. hepatitis?,second hand hep vapor. STD'S? second hand STD vapor. unless everyone is going to walk around inside plastic bubbles?, Get the Picture?

And perfume, I wish that were illegal in the states like it is in some places overseas. I'm tempted to get my own plastic bubble and a fog machine some days.

Yes, I found that one on PBusardo's site. I also put a link on my site. Busardo has the best info, I think. I also found the one about vape making it harder to get airborn diseases but I can't remember where. If I find it, I'll link you.

Please do. I'd love to see the link to that. Knowledge truly is power.
