Hello, all. I've been a member here for some time now but basically inactive. I've recently taken a plunge from sub ohm pod systems, and a Freemax Twister, into a Kylin V2 rta sitting atop a Geek vape Aegis Legend 200w box. A friend has been rebuilding for several years, and while my coils sometimes look pretty sad in comparison I'm getting really great results. A lot of the terminology here is still foreign to me, but I'm gradually catching on. Well, see you all around!!

Welcome to ecf, don't worry too much about how the coils look just make sure they have no hotspots.
It's the wicking that can be a problem, your mod is regulated with protection built in, I vape very sub-ohm and most my coils are between 0.15/0.4 ohms.
Some look good, some not so good but if it works, it works.
I have a twister and I love it but mainly I use my rtas and rdas.
Hope you enjoy your kylin v2, was looking at one but I've used my vape funds for this month.
I hate shinyitis, but the v2 looks good, I'll get one next month, Haha

Have you tried making spaced coils? Very easy and no hot spots. Check out this forum:

BTW, I wasn't implying spaced coils are better (and I don't know what wire you are using) but with simple round wire it couldn't be easier:

Besides fancy wires (fused claptons, aliens, ect) flat wire is also easy to use and gives good results)
