It has been raining for 3 days, Evie. It's supposed to end tomorrow, but I'm going to be too busy for a walk. I'm shooting for Wednesday. We have a 525 acre wooded town park, that originally belonged to a monastery. The monks have moved away, but the town bought it all, even the remaining buildings.
I was going to leave the ECF, before I found this great thread. As to why one would become a mod, well, it's because of the love and respect for the ECF and how much it has helped vapers, Evie dear. I too have a lot of respect for the ECF, but Moderating takes a lot of time and work. That's why I have always hesitated, before applying to become one.Really I don't see it being fun as a moderator then what you do like about it here becomes work. Who wants that?
I got spanked by old soldier a couple of years ago. I posted a joke in a joke thread. Someone flagged it innappropriate and he romoved it and spanked me. Then the owner of the subform had it put back up saying I did nothing wrong. But I was still spanked. Moderators scare me.

I got a scolding from Old Soldier too, Evie. I saw that a friend had "Moved On" and I thought that he had been banned. O.S. rather rudely gave me a scolding and told me that my friend had requested to be removed from the forum. I told O.S. that there should be another word for those who voluntarily leave the forum.
