The issues you are going through is horrific and super taxing on a body. I can't imagine it and how you keep your spirits so high. Besides hormones and weight fluctuation..the pain has to be a complete nightmare. I feel so bad for you and hoping you set that doc straight! He needs to listen to you!!!!

Or....Evie and I can show him who's boss for ya!

Yes, I have a mean streak I can bring out on that Doctor of yours.

Wow Fran! Impressive for sure. If I had to rely on myself for wood to cook and keep warm...I guess my .... would be cold and starving. Heehehehee...HEY, then I'd lose weight too!

^^^^^^^^This from the woman who can post epic posts in a fast moving contest thread while walking on a treadmill. :p

We do the same here. Get 2 tri axle loads and some needs split but this thing takes lumps of wood. We knocked down about half acre of trees last summer to put a road in and had that to deal with too. This thing does a good job and also heats the water for the house in the winter... just have to go out there and keep feeding the monster.

We don't cook with wood,Angi. There is a wood stove on our front porch and an oil furnace in the basement. Hubby's garage also has a wood stove and oil furnace.

Those outdoor furnaces look like outdoor shi- houses.
