I went really cheap on a battery charger. I already ordered a fasttech 18650 size battery charger for $3.25

Going to be charging an Efest IMR 18650 / 2000 mAh (Li-Mn) battery with it.

Considering the cheap price for this charger, do you think it will work? ... and be safe? ... Charge as fast as the more expensive chargers?

Yeah I have 1 of those at my office for emergency mid day charges. It works. I have had mine for about 8 months. It's kind of sloppy because nothing is actually holding the battery in place so a lot of time you have to play with the positive side once in the charger for it to catch and give you the red light meaning it's charging. Worth that price for sure.

I personally wouldn't have wasted $3.50 on something that might not work, let alone possibly damage my batteries or cause a fire in my house.

Worst thing to skimp on is safe batteries and chargers for your mods. Trying to be cheap can cause an explosion (your face) or fire (your house) and then it can get really expensive. Buying quality items to start will save you money in the long run.

Then again, its your money, your face, and your house...not mine.
