3 new atomizers DOA? Could it be?

First let me start off by saying hello. I am new to ECF. I have been a member of another forum for over 3 years, but really liked what I saw here, so here I am. Sorry if this is posted in an incorrect place but it doesn't look like I can post as of now in topic related areas. When I started vaping, all there really was were pre filled cartos and atomizers. I have used a lot of 510 attys in my day. I since went away from them and have been using clearo's and tanks. Years later I figured I would get some more attys for juice taste testing. I just received an order today from LiteCigUSA of 3 510 "premium Joye atomizers" as stated on my receipt. I put one on at 3.7v and nothing. I tried the 2nd and then the 3rd again nothing. I have tried them on two different devices. I have many fresh batteries. All my other equipment is working fine on the devices. Is it possible these all arrived DOA. It really seems unlikely but I have no answers. On a side note, years back when I used atomizers, I used them on these exact 2 devices and they always worked great. I am at a loss.

If you have a multimeter, check to see if there is a resistance reading.

What a bummer! That would be very strange if all three of them were DOA. I recently had an EVOD topper that just would not work, and found that they had neglected to drill the air holes in the base. So that's one... And today I tried another EVOD on my new MVP and it didn't work. I figured out I had to really tighten it up on the MVP, much more so than on the egos I'd been using. After I tightened it down really good, it worked just fine.

Maybe you need to try really tightening them. Sounds like they are not making contact for some reason. Good luck.

So that's one... And today I tried another EVOD on my new MVP and it didn't work. I figured out I had to really tighten it up on the MVP, much more so than on the egos I'd been using. Thanks guys. I did some playing around. Even though I have been vaping for nearly 4 years, I feel like I am still somewhat in the stone age when it comes to equipment. I was using these on a silver bullet and a joker AV. I have noticed in videos, that many of the newer devices have an adjustable center post. With mine, you kind of have to use a small screwdriver and lift up on the post. I hate doing this, because a couple years ago my joker broke doing this. I had to send it in for repairs. Well today, I said what the heck and lifted up on the post slightly. I retried the atomizers and they worked great. Now I am in the market for a new mod that will just make the overall experience easier. Thanks again..

So glad you found a fix for your problem. I'm just a girl, lol, and pretty terrified of breaking my equipment. I would have to be very brave to take a screwdriver to my device. I salute your bravery.
