Funny that NJ is considering a drop in the cig tax after banning indoor use of PVs. I suppose they want to help out those NYC residence that don't mind a boat trip across the Hudson.
Safe to assume NYS wouldn't be on the list - $5.85 - No wonder my 'savings' grow so fast 
I read an article in Feb about this. NJ proposed lowering the tax because, after last year's tax increase, they LOST 11% of revenue. Once again it's about money, not health. After NY started their ridiculous tax increase, they lost 27% of tobacco revenue. What angered me the most is that NY was going to use this "windfall" tobacco tax money to balance their budget.
