I've done pills(both kinds), patches, gum, lozenges, hypnosis, and laser therapy. Some small successes, lots of extreme guilt when I went back to analogs. I decided 3 weeks ago to try vaping. I'm extremely fortunate to live less than 3 miles from a brick and mortar e-gig shop. I stopped in, and they asked about my smoking habits, amount, preferred brand, and even my smoking habits when imbibing. After digesting all the facts they recommended a few different e-cigs that would fit my lifestyle.

I ended up with the Bud's TM, mostly because it has a battery indicator built in. I didn't want a dead battery to derail my efforts!

I started with the RY-4 they carry and mix on premises. A week later I went back and sat down at one of their sampling tables, where every flavor they carry is on little shelves, and they have an endless supply of clean cartos so you can try new flavors. I ended up with black cherry with a few drops of RY-4 added for throat hit.

Fast forward to yesterday. I wanted a few more clearomizers, some more fluid, and maybe a new flavor. Well what to my wandering eyes should appear, but a shelf of new GLV-2s!

$224 dollars later I sit here typing, enjoying the heck out of my new mod. The Bud's TM has not been relegated to the junk drawer, though. It will remain my driving/at work e-cig as its appearance is far more benign. That being said - I LOVE 5v vaping.

Habits are odd things. I haven't wanted or needed an analog since I started vaping. However, I now get a crave to vape at the same mile markers I used to light up at. I've also noticed that I start rolling the window down in the car, until I remind myself about the vape.

Perhaps the oddest part, though, is that my morning routine is changing. It used to be wake up, smoke, take my vitamins, make coffer. Its now wake up, take my vitamins, make coffee, vape.

Congrats on kicking the analogs! I too was totally floored with the ease of my transition, I really was to the point I thought I could never quit smoking. So glad to be vaping! And so glad its worked for you too!

Also, I too am able to make my coffee BEFORE I vape in the morning. I also used to light up before anything else was going to happen in my morning. I was essentially useless before my morning cigarette. It's quite an adjustment to wake up a bit clearer lol.

Congrats again! :)

I also started vaping about 3 weeks ago after 45 years of analogs. I was up to 3 PAD of Kools at one time, and have tried to quit too many times to count. I was able to quit for a whole year about 15 years ago but a little too much stress sent me back to a 1.5 PAD habit and I continued using that much until I saw an ad on weather.com "e-cigarette exposed". From there I googled extensively and found a reliable starter kit. And so the story goes! I have not wanted an analog since. It is amazing how easy it has been to quit smoking.:rickroll:

I know the name of that tune, been down all that road too so I feel your pain. Without a brick and mortar shop near me that I just happened to stop at on a whim I'd still be pounding coffin nails. Surprised the heck out of me how fast I took to vaping and how quickly I dropped the analogs. Best of luck to you!
