3 weeks into vaping and LOVING IT!

New to this community and vaping.

Been a smoker for over half my life (17yrs), averaging a pack a day and started getting sick of the costs. I was introduced to vaping by a friend at work and next thing I know, I'm hooked and loving it!

I now smoke maybe 1-2 cigarettes a week! and as days go by, I don't think much of them anymore. It's a fantastic feeling.

Started off with used Nautalus from Aspire with a nemesis clone, followed by purchasing a 2nd Nautalus mini. Graduated to building coils, sub ohming, and now I'm waiting for delivery of a tree of life mod, hana modz clone, veritas rda and the posiedon.


What started off as a step towards saving money and a 'healthier' alternative; after all of these purchases, plus parts, accessories and over 20 bottles of juice (I'm a flavor .....) Man o man, startup costs, at least for me was pretty damn expensive. I know what I have will last me for a long time, but I just wanted to say...

Thank you. Vaping information was soooo overwhelming at first but I've learned alot lurking on various community boards. I'll definately ask if needed.

I have been sub-ohming for about a week, I started off prefering a cooler vape, but after getting my hands on some kanthol and playing around. When at work I'm using my Nautalus at 1.2 ohms and at home and outside I've settled down to the .5 to .6 range. Anything lower than .3 just seems to ruin the flavor for me.

What strength nicotine do you use? In your case I would try 18mg to 12mg/ml strength. That should wean you completely off cigarettes.

I'm with you there! I have yet to find anything below .5 that I REALLY love. But then, my all day vapes are loaded in a couple of Reo Woodvil's (a mini and a full size) so I run 1.4ohm in the mini and 0.7 in the full size. I have a LP (low profile) Metal Rio on the way and I may try going lower on it.

I do have a couple of other mech's with RTA's & RTDA's on them and I'm still playing around with coils on them. I've only been sub-ohming for 4 months.
