My limited knowledge tells me that burnt taste = a dry atty. But I have soaked these things to the gill and keep getting that burnt taste. Am I missing something? How do y'all break in your new 306s? Any help is appreciated. :vapor:

In this video, the author points out exactly the cause and cure of what you are describing.

In a nutshell, you have to debridge it. For the 510, I've seen quite a few videos on youtube on how to do it. There should be plenty specific to the 306 as well.
