could you tell me why PE bottles are better than PET ones?

I am looking for the PE bottles as well.
The PET bottles crease and it's harder to get an accurate drop.
I would also like to be able to get the non-childproof caps.
No child comes any where near my gear and the childproof caps leave wet rings on every surface in my house.

PE is better because they are more flexible. PET is very rigid and not suitable for squeezing like MusicBox said. As for Childproof bottles, I couldn't care less either way. The tops can just be set on their sides or on a coaster if you must place them face down.
