I've done some reading online about gplat being 317 SS wire. This stuff seems to perform well but what I'm wondering is if anybody uses it. I bought 25 feet of it (knockoff gplat i think Its 317L SS) for 12$ which I guess is a rip off lol. Still cheaper than royal, hot wires, or gplat.

I guess what I'm asking is if anyone knows if this stuff is as safe as kanthol and if it's even worth it.

Thanks!

I haven't tried it yet but I've read about it and just waiting for it to come in the mail.

from what I understand is has lower resistance than kanthal so it heats up faster and cools down faster, from what I've read the flavor is really clean too and last longer than kanthal.

I think this will be a good upgrade for me but not sure yet, time will tell.

I have ss 304 and ss 316 coming in, gplat is just that but really overpriced

It's the safest of all available coiling materials today. Here is an article by our technical guru (Morandir835) grading each. Resistance wire safety guide | Vapor Reporter Enjoy the day!:2cool:
