And I don't miss them a bit.

After smoking 30 years. Hard for me to believe. I am still kind of in wonderment as to how easy it was.

I have been a reader here for quite a while but I wanted to register so I could say thanks to everyone here.

Its amazing what you can learn by just reading without posting a word but I started thinking actually participating would be fun.

Anyway, I could not have done it without the ECF

Congrats EddieB!
I've been on the analogs for about 25 years, and I think I'm about ready to quit. Your statment (and others like it) are encouraging! I'm in the midst of product research and hope to have some decisions made by the end of the week.

Will you share your equipment list and juice choices?

Thanks!

Sure thing!

The actual breakup was made possible with Halo G 6's and Halo Tribeca @ 24 MG/ML.

One of the cool/weird things is that in the beginning all I was interested in was very strong, realistic tobacco flavored only blends. Tourque 56 and Prime 15. I looked over some of the flavors and was like. There is just no way a guy like me is EVER going to vape cheesecake or anything like that.

First week and a half or so the strong tobacco only mixes were all I smoked and it was a bit of a struggle, then in the Halo sampler pack I ordered, I decided to try something different, Tribeca.

Absolute love at first puff. It was so dang good I just sat there for a minute. What was that, Carmel?, vanilla? Did not know but man, was it tasty. Now I am trying to sample a lot of different flavors and enjoying the heck out of it

All that to say this. I think my "so far" success is based on two things

1. It was a lot easier when I stopped trying to replicate the analog flavor and trying to make my vape of choice as close to or exactly like all my years on the analogs.

2. I love to tinker and this suites me well.

Yesterday I added an ego-u because I wanted to find something I could fill and make sure charged in the evenings. G6's are sweet but I found myself charging and filling them a lot in the evenings when I am relaxing. So far I friggin love it.

Hope that helps

EddieB

It does indeed. Did you buy the manual or automatic version? Would you buy the same version again or would you switch? I'm thinking I'd prefer the automatic, but know they're less reliable in the long run. I'm wondering if the manual will annoy me or not...

Also, which battery did you choose?

I see this time and time again, but just can't wrap my head around it. I'm a single brand smoker, and hate it when I have to switch. There are so many flavor and composition choices to make; I think I'm hitting the analysis paralysis stage. I guess I'm just going to have to take a leap of faith on this and order some flavors outside of the profile I think I want.

Thanks again!

Hey, cheesecake is good! :)

It's so interesting how different we all are. I like Halo's menthols, and their Belgian Cocoa, but I hate their tobaccos. They all taste like pine needles to me--and tar.

Go figure!

Let us know how you like that eGo-U--somebody asked me about it the other day.

I feel your pain. :D

Just don't overthink it. Get some sample packs from highly rated vendors and have a ball! There is no other way. Look for 3 ml or 5 ml bottles, tops. There is nothing worse than a 30 ml bottle of unvapeable eliquid sitting on your desk...
