Just wanted to introduce myself and thank everyone here for such great information and such an amazing resource.

I smoked 1 to 1 1/2 packs of lights a day, for almost the past 15 years. I've known for a while it was time to quit before this did even more damage to my health, but honestly, I enjoyed smoking for the most part. I kept saying "next year" and next year kept coming...

I started seeing the ads for Blu a year or so ago on the internet, whenever they started the heavy ad campaigns, and was intrigued by the idea. 6-8 months ago I saw a Smoking Everywhere kiosk at a mall, and got to try one out. I wasn't super impressed with the device, but saw promise. Luckily I didn't buy that day.

A couple of months ago I decided I was ready to take the plunge, and started researching. Naturally the Blu keeps coming up over and over again. Their investment into SEO is pretty impressive. It's almost impossible to search e-Cigs on the internet and not get Blu over and over again. Luckily I found ECF, and after a week or two of reading the forums, decided to order a Joye 510 starter kit from Cignot.

Two days later, it was in my hands. (This company has the fastest shipping and best customer service of anyone I've ever done business with by the way, hands down.) From the first try I knew this could replace my analogs. I finished off my remaining 5-6 I had in my pack that day, supplemented with the 510, and haven't bought a pack since. In the first couple of weeks I had some drags off friends cigarettes, mostly to see if I felt I was missing anything, and couldn't stand the taste. I've had a few cravings here and there, but just think about that nasty taste, chain vape a little more, and it passes.

I never expected to quit analogs that first day, but here I am, 37 days later, and loving it. With some advice today on ECF, I just ordered an eGo USB battery to test the eGo hardware. I spent a nice chunk of money on juice from several different suppliers last week and am looking forward to it all arriving this week. My FreedomSmokeUSA shipment should be in tomorrow's mail.

So there you have it. I probably haven't really saved any money yet, but I'm OK with that right now. I'm a little OCD and spend way too much time reading ECF, getting new ideas, which I should probably back away from.

I do have one question... I haven't honestly "felt" much different yet. No coughing up horrible black crap from my lungs, or any of the other things I expected to start seeing by now. I probably have a bit more lung capacity, or so it seems, but my sense of smell hasn't changed yet, and I don't think my taste buds have changed. I guess that takes varying amounts of time in different people... Still waiting/looking forward to those things.

Anyway.. Thanks again to everyone here. I couldn't have done this without ECF.

I'm glad it's working out for you. Welcome to the forum! I never had any of that either; no coughing, no increase in lung capacity, no increase in sense of taste/smell. I smoked 3/4 pack of camel filters for 25 years. I guess it's just different for every one.
