I read a little about him many years ago when he first appeared on the tube.
he doesn't practice other than when he's writing new music, he plays video games in his spare time
his appearance in the above vid is what's colloquial known as a bear (a gay guy with short hair and a hairy beard), he didn't know, he's a family man and got propositioned by a few confused men

he had tuned metal slugs surgically implanted in his fingers to give the percussive sound you hear from hitting the guitar (I made that one up too)
