Hi, Fran, and Halons everywhere...

Yesterday's Big Bash BBQ went well. The new (to me) Gibson sounded great, but I still have to clean the pots, still noisy after sitting for 20 years. The other guitarist offered me big bucks "as is". Too bad it's not for sale.

Today's bbq made up for the subpar burgers and dogs from yesterday. Baby backs, rubbed last night, grilled low and slow. And had to make a sauce, as she thought we had a quart frozen from last time, but...

The grandkids helped Pop Pop "paint" the ribs with sauce at the last 15 minutes. ("Can I paint a heart on one for you? I'm gonna make a heart cause I love you, Pop Pop...")

Adorable.

And somehow caught some of the World Cup games!

Ah well it's all good.

Had a busy weekend here. Saturday was my little cousin's graduation party. Had taken a pain pill and thought it was a great idea to play volleyball then jump in the bounce house with the kids. Double definitely paid for it all today. It was so nice being active again though, I desperately wanna be me again. Can't wait to be as normal as I can get and start doing things again.

Today relaxed on the couch and watched a bunch of trash tv and read while the kids were gone with daddy. He says he wants to start making it a weekly thing, asked if I was ok with that..... pffffttt!!!!! Am I ok with having a break from the kids once a week? Ummm duh! LOL
