I just had to stop cold turkey. The withdrawal was horrible. I don't think it was worse than analogs, but it was pretty close.

I bet!!!!! I use to drink a crap load of Diet Pepsi, everyday and gave up pop but not cold turkey. It was a killer so I can't imagine quitting it all at once.
It hurt my soul. I do LOOOOVVVEE coffee, though. I indulge every so often.
Did you ever try switching to decaf coffee or decaf tea?
I have decaf tea, but I refuse to drink decaf coffee. It's just not the same....
