Incidentally, I don't know why anyone would say zero nic has some nic in it....obviously, if the nic bottle goes nowhere near the PG/VG and flavorings, there is NO NIC:facepalm:

And most juice makers dont have totally separate production lines where they make their Zero Nic juice at. I really wish I could find the article that I read about this on. I have been looking and looking since I got asked for the "proof" earlier. If using the same equipment, containers, and surfaces to mix juices with and without nicotine, anything short of a VERY strong solvent or an autoclave, you will end up with nicotine "contaminating" non-nic juice.

Since we are talking about addicitve substances, Decaf-Coffee is not truly 100% Caffine free either.

I don't think trace nicotine is an issue. Not like trace peanuts to someone who has allergic reactions. Trace nicotine is present in tomatos and eggplant. (amanda, posted this before I saw your post. Like minds!!)

Another point. The addition of menthol in cigarettes increases the half-life of nicotine in the body. I wonder if menthol in eliquid has the same effect.

And this is something that is way down the road. To get to 6 from 18 is going to be a challenge.

Really, it's not that hard. I have a friend who quit smoking a couple of months ago. I had to make her 48mg/ml to get her off cigarettes. I just made her up some 6mg, and she's perfectly happy with that. Nicotine, while addictive, isn't quite as addictive as people think. I think the hand to mouth habit is what makes it so hard to quit.... but I do agree, going to zero is probably hardest for a long-term smoker. I think I could likely go to zero with some discomfort, but I think I would find it a whole lot harder to quit vaping altogether!

I can't disagree strongly enough!

If the Dr was a antz, she would have made Evie stop immediately. Using a term like antz is rather inflammatory. It is used in other argumentative threads, but not here.

Further, Evie plainely said her Dr was knowlegable about vaping, and pro-vaping.

Agree. It seems nicotine with the other thousands of chemicals in cig smoke is much more addictive. Nicotine alone, not near as bad as thought a few years ago.

Of course, everyone's addiction is different. You hear all the time about a 2 packaday smoker quiting cold. Well, good for them.

It is the habit, the ritual, even the calming effect of a slow inhale and exhale. A lot of addiction is between the ears.

+2! I think the biggest part of the problem is that we humans are creatures of habit, both individually and socially (contagious yawning anyone). One of the biggest hurdles is the times we are used to having a cig...while driving, while drinking, after a meal, afterglow...etc. Again mostly habitual moments, with the exception of after a meal which is actually physiological and has to do with increased stomach acid production due to nic.

BTW. Menthol X is some really intriguing jooze!! First couple of vapes....meh...not sure about the eucalyptus. Sat down with the tank and before I knew it, I was refilling it! Then I had to refill it again!! man this stuff really grows on you. Once the sweetness began shining through, I forgot that I wasn't ever a menthol smoker during my 25+ years of polluting myself!! Rocking it at a solid 9W and mmmmmmmHmmmmm :vapor: I rerry rerry rike it!! :)

Hey we are all friends again guys be nice. Group hugs! And cheers to the miles that brought us all here. Have a drink and a vape and sing a song. Whatever tickles your pickle.

Evie if you have faith in this doctor, despite how hard it may be I would listen to her and listen to your body. One thing my illness has given me is a greater understanding of my body and how it works. It's taught me to listen closer to what it's telling me, like when I'm pushing myself too much and when I need a rest to take it, whether there is a mountain of dishes or not. They won't get up and walk away if they don't get done right this second. You will start paying closer attention now while vaping/ drinking coffee/ etc and you'll start noticing changes when overdoing it. Take care of you and do what you feel is best/ necessary for your health no matter what anyone else says. Put your foot down if you have to

For some reason, I never gave Kringle's Curse a fair try. I dropped a bit in the RNdripper, but never did a tankful. After looking at a few coils so gunked up, I looked at this clear juice, and said, "Why not?"

After 2 refills, I like this!! I don't know if I can taste anything else, as this hits taste buds like mad.

But it's really nice on a hot humid day. Kringles. Whoda thought?

Kringles. Whoda thought?

yeah...who..i wonder? it's a mystury! too bad there wasn't any one particular devilishly handsome gent with fantastic '70's hair constantly going on about how good Kringle's is amidst his own sociopathic ravings and hittin on all his wimmens.

then it wouldn't have been such a huge shock....

What happened to your promise to stay away? Dave has been on this thread a long time and tends to serve as our hall monitor. If you don't like that, there is an option many would prefer you take.

Oh wow...the Menthol-X I traded for with another member arrived today - it smells exactly like it should go into one of those humidifiers I used to put in my daughter's room when she was little and had a cold....LOL
Yes, it does, but don't let that sway you too much. Give it a tankful first. It takes a little to break in, the tank/coil and your taste...

the eucalyptus smell is pretty strong early on, what is odd to me is that i never really tasted it. i got the menthol, and after a steep i started getting some of the sweetness and the tobacco, but the eucalyptus really just added some strength to the overall concoction, not flavor.

I have been a member of ECF for 4 1/2 years, without so much as a warning. I come to this thread and I get told how to operate, that invisible mode is not acceptable here, that the term ANTZ is not acceptable here. I came here today, to make a comment to Evie, she is my friend, whether you people like it or not. I wasn't talking to Dave and I wasn't talking to you. Yet, I end up getting BS from the both of you. You people are too much !!!!!

Ok, going to brave it and put it in a tank...!
