well we already had an August contest, so mebbe Cinder will something speshul planned for us for Labor day or some other day in September.
I think it's obvious the turn-out for the facebook style contest doesn't work as well on a forum, mebbe they're planning sumtin new. like pudding! or bacon!

Babbling brook is nice.
do it actually babble? cuz that would be annoying...or does it wax philosophical? ecumenical? economical? political? does at least know to stop talking at night when you go to sleep?
ok...gonna go ahead and embarrass myself for the day. I never heard of the term "babbling brook" in my early twenties (you know, last year-hehehehe) and an ex boyfriend and I went on a nature trail hike. He stated that the babbling brook was gorgeous. And I asked him "how did you know they named the water Brook?"
Hey, I grew up near steel mills. Not a lot of pretty outdoor stuff there.
the gurgling glen leads into the babbling brook, which feeds into the rambling river, that flows through to the chattering creek, which ambles onwards to the twittering tributary, and it all ends at the rumbling rivulet.
