i don't have any knowledge about the e-power but i got that battery and it worked great on my diy tuber, it's got a flat top, luckily for me the contact for my unit protrudes a little to touch the contact spot on the battery, that's the thing i'd worry about (the flat top/positive end).

i've never seen a "southeast mass" there was the southshore, the cape, so are you in greater providence or something? just the location just itches me to ask the question (used to live over in worcester before).

We don't carry the 18650 e-power but from what they tell me, above 5 volts input will fry the switch in the current version, they are coming out with a version of the switch that will take a higher input volotage. I think some folks were putting two 16340's or 18350's in them and the switch was frying so suppsedly an update is coming.
