4 months without tobacco and no interest in it for sure. I'm so stoked on that.
However, I am starting to struggle with vaping, it seems like nothing is satisfying right now.
I have the Carto tank, the protank, the Igo-w dual coil, the single coil rda, and different mods for all of them. I tried upping the nicotine. but dripping 12mg didn't work out for me.

So have any of you been there, and what's next? Should I start throwing more money at this or just hold steady? Any thoughts. I keep finding myself shopping, but not buying.

Hi! I've been there. For me the first 6 months was a constant battle between being satisfied and not. I stuck through it and after the 6 month mark it got a lot easier. Now 2 1/2 years later all is well. My suggestion, find 3 juices you really love and stick with them (constant searching for juice can cause dissatisfaction), get 3 high end rebuildables (ihybrid, kayfun, etc.) And stick with them. Have a few high end well working devices and 3 juices you love was my key for finding long term satisfaction.

You might need to try totally different juice. I went from tobacco to mostly fruit and drink flavors. I still do some tobacco, but mixing it up kept up my satisfaction. I do fruit and tobacco at work and cinnabon and cherry limeade at home right know. Next juice order will be something different again.
I guess it's like working in a chocolate factory. After a bit it's all "same old". So, you eat peanut brittle.

What part isn't satisfying you?
the amount of nicotine you feel you're getting?
Or just the experience as whole?

I don't think it's nicotine at all, the 12mg didn't seem to help the cause.
It's hard to explain, but I keep switching from device to device, hoping that I will love one more.
The wife is calling it OCD, and I'm actually getting pretty tired of tinkering.
At first I had a twist with a clearomizer, I wish I could go back.

Well, if you have completely quit smoking and don't feel the need to vape then in might be time to put that down as well.
Aren't we all here to stop smoking? Sounds to me that vaping did its job, its time to set her free.

On the contrary, I'm vaping like a maniac. I really enjoy it.
When I up the nic I start feeling like crap.
Tricci, sounds like he knows where I'm coming from. I think, a cool down period before shopping sounds right.

I just did that.

There are plenty of veterans vaping on ego twists with clearos. :) Found juice I like, found bottom coil clearos I like, can dial in my vape. Had all the big mods (provari, sigelei zmax, etc.) and I went backward in my vaping.

Saves me a lot of $$ too. I started writing out some of my thoughts and decided I would rather take a nice beach vacation for 10 days than buy more vape gear at this point, 1 year 4 months in.

Of course, I think it is normal to go thru boring phase........tired of juices, gear, etc.

I notice when I vape all the time, like can happen when I'm on the computer with a mod or two in front of me, eventually I end up putting them aside for a while. When I pick one up again say an hour later, the vape experience is much better than when I left it. I vape mechanical devices with RBA/RDA's that put out a lot of flavor and go through a lot of juice, but 4 ml a day is a lot for me, 2 - 3 ml is about average. I feel this helps keep it satisfying for me. It also means if I can't vape for a while it's not a big deal.

OK... Let me take a crack at it.
I, too was getting burned-out, almost bored at about the same time you mention. For me, the next big "WOW" factor was getting away from the "Usual" liquids and began diving into true tobacco flavors. I CANNOT get enough of Naturally Extracted Tobacco's, especially aromatic pipe blends... I think I vape more for the aroma than the nicotine these days.
Have you become bored with the flavor experience perhaps?
What do you usually vape? is it fruit, dessert, tobacco?

Please don't jump ship! Try switching up juice till you find an addicting one. Also, not sure how many mg of nicotine you're using but if it's anything less than 24 mg go up for a while. I've actually heard of some using 36 temporarily to get over the hump.

Most importantly, make sure you ALWAYS have a charged device handy and are never without.

Keep it up!! The mind is a tricky thing and it's trying to deceive you :) It will do anything to justify going back. Think about the negatives of analogs. Your own personal reasons plus the smell, nausea, carcinogens and of course expense (even though that's irrelevant when the mind is playing tricks on you) Believe me, when you go to sleep at night, you will be glad you have you vape next to you another day.

Not at all for me. I absolutely love to smoke and didn't start vaping to quit. I just didn't the side effects of cigaretts or the smell. And i'd like to be around to see my grand daughter grow up.

Find several uniquely different flavors and switch every so often. Even the flavors I LOVE get kinda old after a few days and I lose the flavor until I switch and then switch back. I fall in love with them all over again.

Im in the same boat. What the Hell? I spend hours looking but can't pull the trigger. I think I like the VV but the c-twist i just purchased failed with a 4 foot drop on to a carpeted floor. The c-twist VV adjustment was lose and felt like poor craftsmanship So spent dat today looking at a "Spinner". The hard time I have is deciding where to buy - local shops pricing is all over the board and feeling like I getting cheap crap. I'm and old guy and like seeing, touching before I buy. I could go on and will on my own posts but look forward to seeing replays to yours

Oh, and one more thing....when i started vaping (almost 4 yrs ago), I would even wake up in the middle of the night because I was craving an analog. As a result, I was NEVER without a vape in my hands for months and as long as I had a vape when the urge it, (and sometimes puffed a ton of times in a row to take in lots of nicotene (I was at 24 mg of nicotine and rarely at 35mg) I didn't give in. Eventually I was just craving my vapes. DON"T give in. Your body is actually craving what it's NOT getting from the e-cig which are the carcinogens. Just like the nicotine, the body gets addicted to them. The main controversy about e-cigs is the PG in the juice which is approved by the FDA and found in MANY foods/drinks but some vapers prefer 100% VG which contains no PG.

I'm sure you know that the analogs contain tons of chemicals but here a just a few:

-Acetone: used in nail-polish remover and paint stripper
-Acrolein: Extremely toxic substance used to produce acrylic acid. It is considered a possible human carcinogen and is the cause of emphysema
-Arsenic: Deadly poison, found in rat poison
-Benzene: found in pesticides and gasoline. It is found in high levels in cigarette smoke. Can cause drowsiness, dizziness, rapid heart rate, headaches and unconsciousness. Associated with leukemia.
-Cadmium: Toxic heavy metal used in car batteries.
-Carbon Monoxide: a gas that replaces oxygen in the body. Found in car exhaust fumes.
-DDT: Pesticide used to kill insects
-Formaldehyde: Used for preserving dead bodies. Known to cause cancer along with gastrointestinal, respiratory and skin problems.
-Hydrogen Cyanide: Used to kill people in gas chambers executions.
-Tar: used to tarmac roads. It is the collective term describing toxins produced by smoking cigarettes. It coats the lungs much like soot from logs coats chimneys.
-Vinyl Chloride: Used to make vinyl products. Short-term exposure causes dizziness, fatigue and headaches. Long-term exposure can lead to cancer and liver damage.

omg. even though im only 26 days in, i think i can see this in the future.
this is why i did not go mods and rebuildables.
I just went with cig-a-like and now i know i need to find more juices i like.
(did get a clearomizer, but i don't see/feel anything special about it and it's not as convenient as a cartomizer)

Maybe you spent too much time on the equipment and not on the juices?
i would think the juice search is much more intensive, as that's what's gonna hold you, the vapor and taste of the vapor.
breathing in vapor is just about same as breathing in air ... especially with no hit.
so why do all this "work" just to breath in air?
the juice flavour and/or Throat Hit i think is the key for me in the long run.
