can somebody please tell the difference between the 4 or 5 pin regulator hoogie is selling? im currently using the 4 pin regs on 4 of my 5v mod.

Really just size and pin configuration.. The 4 pin ones are a bit easier to work with in my opinion but they are a bit bigger if you were putting them into a tube type mod..

thanks hoogs, so basically the only difference between the two is size. i thought it has something to do with the voltage or something.
My only question about the 5 pin regulator is how do you line it up with regular PCB? the pins don't line up with the holes? Is there a different PCB I need to get to use these? I'm currently using PCB from Radio Shack. It's crummy stuff, crumbles when you try to cut it down and the holes will only line up with the 4 prong regulators. Is there something I'm missing?

Sometimes I don't use a board like where there isn't room. What I been doing is soldering to the pins and then I hit it with hot glue that protects the pins from moving and breaking plus it insulates them. When theres room I use them though.
