Hey guys, hopefully my username doesn't shock or offend anybody. :p
I recently started vaping more seriously after a 5 year history of smoking and being on and off with a variety of rechargeable and disposable e-cigs. My first "serious" vape was my iTaste MVP with a Kanger Protank I requested for my birthday July 2015 (thanks papa). Recently I've upgraded to an AR mech with a doge RDA and picking up on the ins and outs of subohm vaping quite fast (cell types, their capabilities and what the numbers mean; safety). I am here for everybody as much as you're here for me and look forward to helping others and learning even more

Don't be surprised if you get some attention form a MOD. I'm sure no malice was intended, but the association of vaping to drug use will likely draw it, so don't be offended if they do.

Welcome to the forum though.

I'm new here, also! Sounds like you know a lot more than I did about 2 weeks ago when I started vaping and signed up. :) So how did it go, switching from the basics to the mechs? Any speed bumps along the way you could warn me about?

Finding good batteries is tough sometimes because of the counterfeits, false performance claims and rewrapping original cells with another brand. Counterfeits can be dangerous because of the unregulated simplicity of mechs, and poor chemistry/false performance claims may not handle your coil build well. Burns from heat and chemical exposure from batteries bursting open have happened, and this can be prevented by knowing your batteries' limits, testing your atty resistance and buying genuine batteries.

I believe you might want to recheck your build, a 0.08ohm coil pulls little less than 50 amps, and is concidered extremely unsafe with 18650 batteries and even on some 26650 batteries. I suggest going for a 0.2ohm build and high VG liquids if you want to blow huge clouds instead of holding a potential pipebomb in your hand and in close proximity of your face.
