Well shucks. I was hoping it would have the lower voltage. Wish y"all still had some of the older type left.

I have one of the old type. It switched between 3.2, 3.7 and 4.2. The new one switches between 3.2, 3.5, 3.7 and 3.9, I believe, but an a little unsure on the 3.5 or 3.4.

Thanks for your comment, Lord. You are correct about the advertised voltages for the older type, but that's what it measures when fully charged and without a load applied. However, it only puts out 2.8 volts and about 3.8 volts max with a 3Ω load. Unlike most other folks, most of my cartomizers work best for me at 2.8 volts.

what kind of juice are you putting in a 3Ω carto that puts out good vapor at 2.8v?
makes me wonder if i'm chasing the wrong dragon with lower Ω and higher volts.... humm....

Oh, I doubt they switched the regulator, so I am going to suspect that they will work. From what I can tell, the older ones used a pulse regulator.

There's nothing special about my juice Ed. It's just a light colored tobacco flavor.

I keep a log of my juice consumption and regulate the power to keep it at about 6ml per day. The cartomizers I build work somewhat better than a manufactured C-E2, so the amount of vapor at a lower voltage is about the same. The cartomizer I am currently using has a 3.5Ω coil and works fine at 2.8 volts.

That is, it works fine for me, but it probably would not be enough for most folks. But then, this coil would work safely at 5 volts, which would really make it a smoker, heheh.

Thanks br, for the working voltage on the vv eGo. I was wondering what that was.
