One of my 401 batteries, fully charged, works but is only powering the atomizer for a second then cuts out. The atomizer is working with other batteries up to the 7 second cut-off. If I try lightly sucking on the battery end, it lights for the full 7 seconds, but when put on the atomizer, only 1 second. Anyone know if this is a battery dying issue, or something else?

Thanks,
Kevin

Is it new? If so, make arrangements to send it back, and have it replaced. If it's an older battery, wait for some suggestions from the tech guys in the forum.

Thanks for the response Jim. It's not new, so no return, but, after pretty much trying everything I could find on the forum for fixing any problems with the batteries(blowing on both ends with mouth and dust off spray, drying it with dryer, cleaning the contacts, re-seating on the atomizer...) and then recharging again, it seems to have come back to normal now. Could it just have been liquid inside the battery?

On another note, in going through all this, I did find that this particular battery has a slightly thicker thread than my other 401 and 402 batteries. It also seems to have a harder draw than the "thinner" thread batteries. Maybe related?
