im not sure what could be going wrong but my 454 big block isn't putting out much vapor. my build: dual coil - 28g - @1ohms. its sitting on an IPV3 and im vaping at 30 watts. The coils look pretty good. they glow at the same time. I tired using less cotton because I thought maybe that could be an issue. Still no luck. I switched my ejuice from max vg to something a little less. and still no luck. As for the batteries im using I have two efest 18650s 35amps each (button top). What could possibly be going wrong here? I get way more vapor & flavor from my cheaper setup (tobh atty). Please help i have been really looking forwards to using this setup. Thanks in advance for any tips or advice.

is your 454 a Kryptonite authentic or a clone because the clones are straight up junk I have used both side by side and they are all together a totally different vaping experience and my suggestion would be if it's a clone make a paper-weight out of it and spend the money for the original it is a cloud machine, flavor is mediocre when compared to a plume veil or magma. I vaped the authentic with 4 26gauge chimney coils at .25 and it was a cloud ripper so it may be that your build is too light or you're not running enough power to make it sing the cloud chaser anthem LOL

hey southstar another question is what are you using to wick it and are you wrapping the coils like a chimney coil or witking it through the coil like a normal micro/macro coil that does have a bit to do with it as well. Heat creates flavor and VG makes plumes of thick clouds, but how you wick your coil affects both factors.

I have a clone at the shop that has all the same markings as the authentic so markings alone won't tell me authenticity of the unit, how much did you spend on it if you don't mind me asking because I actually have spoken with Brandon from Kryptonite about this unit after receiving a clone as a bonus atty in a multi-unit purchase of some assorted atty's from an ebay vendor. We did some photo swapping and measurement comparisons then my original showed up a week later that's when i did my side by side and other than the fact that the tolerances were way off and nothing would interchange they both look identical, with the exception of the drip-tip the clone had a hole bored straight down the center as well as on either side at the interior base, the authentic is only side bore no hole in the center at the interior bottom. I'm a sales manager for my friends vape shop so I have wholesale and retail pricing information on authentic, clone, and the likes so depending on what you paid you may have a clone. I can tell you this the coils seem to glow up nice from the photo and you wicked it through the center which generally gives better flavor. Trim the wick just slightly above the top of the coil and trim the lower tail so that it tucks to the side of the center post without going under either coil. Make sure your airflow holes are directly in front of your coils and that your only running it in dual coil airflow mode, this will intensify the flavor and create a little more warmth retention which aids in flavor as well. Try lowering your coils after wicking them so they are just above the deck but don't let them crush the wick material with vertical coils you are fighting gravity to pull juice up through them. and run your mod up around 45 to 50 watts you should find it a bit better.
