I have a clone at the shop that has all the same markings as the authentic so markings alone won't tell me authenticity of the unit, how much did you spend on it if you don't mind me asking because I actually have spoken with Brandon from Kryptonite about this unit after receiving a clone as a bonus atty in a multi-unit purchase of some assorted atty's from an ebay vendor. We did some photo swapping and measurement comparisons then my original showed up a week later that's when i did my side by side and other than the fact that the tolerances were way off and nothing would interchange they both look identical, with the exception of the drip-tip the clone had a hole bored straight down the center as well as on either side at the interior base, the authentic is only side bore no hole in the center at the interior bottom. I'm a sales manager for my friends vape shop so I have wholesale and retail pricing information on authentic, clone, and the likes so depending on what you paid you may have a clone. I can tell you this the coils seem to glow up nice from the photo and you wicked it through the center which generally gives better flavor. Trim the wick just slightly above the top of the coil and trim the lower tail so that it tucks to the side of the center post without going under either coil. Make sure your airflow holes are directly in front of your coils and that your only running it in dual coil airflow mode, this will intensify the flavor and create a little more warmth retention which aids in flavor as well. Try lowering your coils after wicking them so they are just above the deck but don't let them crush the wick material with vertical coils you are fighting gravity to pull juice up through them. and run your mod up around 45 to 50 watts you should find it a bit better.
