4nine authentic with mutation x v3 authentic

i jus gOt a 4nine authentic mod and for some reaSon my mutation x 3 will not fire on it. Anyone else had this problem?

Don't have that setup, but are you sure that the center pin of the Mutation is touching the battery?

Check the 510 positive pin and the connection on the mod. The 4nine has a delrin insulator that the positive pin might not be extended past.

Only other thing that has caused my 4nine not to fire is a bad buildup on patina on the button and spacer thing.

Exactly, likely its just not making contact with your center pin. Screw up (out) your center pin a few turns and it should be good!
