So I'm trying out an eGoXL. Nominally 900maH. I thought it'd be close to an all-day batt, but I get about 5 hours from it. Now it could be that I wasn't correctly guessing going through 6 std. 510 batts a day, but even so, 7 x 180maH = 1260mah, so in rough terms, a 900maH should last me at least 9 hours. I think that's a conservative estimate.

Is there an easy way to test the maH on a batt? I know there are testing devices. Just wondering about wiring it up to 10 ohms and seeing how long it takes to drop below whatever threshold. I'm guessing the eGo is similar to the 510 in using a PWM circuit (as Scottbee explains it) so maybe that makes it harder. I don't any fancy equipment, but I could clip a voltmeter in place an just look at it periodically.

Just curious. This eGoXL batt mics out at 71mm. I don't have a regular eGo to compare to, but this one should be longer, no? It's 14mm diamater.

ETA: Voltage, measured as DC, fresh off the charger, unloaded, is 3.68 (no, I don't know the tolerance on my cheap-o meter. :) )
